Danity Kane members D. Woods and Aundrea Fimbres recently wrapped up their time on the DK "Untold Chapter Tour," celebrating the group's 20th anniversary. While reflecting on the major milestone during a recent interview, Woods and Fimbres opened up about what it was like working with Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Woods shared saddening details about her time under Diddy's reign. Specifically, she recalled "holding onto [individuality], and suffering in silence" while signed to the "Making the Band" creator's record label.
Woods was first part of the group from 2005 to 2009, when the band went on its first hiatus. Over the years, the women have joined forces, creating a third studio album and hosting pop-up tours before settling down in 2020.
In late 2025, Woods, Fimbres, and Aubrey O'Day reunited as a threesome on the "Untold Chapter Tour," stopping in Los Angeles, Detroit, Boston, and New York.
"There were lots of things going on in the media," Woods said. "Lots of things being aired out and exposed, and ... kind of like the obstacles moved out of the way."
Woods explained that with the barriers removed, it was the perfect time to get back on the road. "... we were like, 'Ugh, all right. Well, now we can just do music, and we can actually write, rewrite the story and reclaim it.' And that's where the title came from, The Untold Chapter," Woods added.
Woods Recalls Experience With Diddy, Opens Up About Cassie As A Solo Artist

Over the last two years, shocking allegations have been made against Diddy by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, and former artists of his. More allegations were revealed during the disgraced rapper's trial in the summer of 2025.
According to Woods, she wasn't surprised by the claims, calling the news about Diddy "very consistent with what we experienced."
"Even if we didn't experience those things firsthand, the atmosphere was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, he acts like that. He does that. He talks to people like that. He talked to us like that,'" she said.
Woods then remembered a previous statement she had made, comparing Danity Kane to Cassie, who was a solo artist under Diddy.
"I made a comment about Cassie and I was like, 'At least we had the five of us. Even though we weren't the best of friends and on the same page all the time, at least we were the five of us,'" she added.
Woods Shares Why Danity Kane Didn't Check In On Cassie In The Early 2000s

Elsewhere during the interview, Woods got candid about why she didn't reach out to Cassie when she and Danity Kane were in close proximity, calling her a "solo act" before sharing that her group was kept out of the loop of their relationship.
"We were all young and just trying to figure it out at the same time. Almost a little out of body experience, like you're watching a movie about a group, but we were the people living [it]," she said. "We were on the couch, yelling at the TV, like, ‘No, girl, you need to call your lawyer.’ It was like we were doing that, but we couldn't really do it because it was our own lives."
Fimbres Details Her 'Hesitations' About Joining Danity Kane On Tour

For Fimbres, she told PEOPLE that agreeing to reunite with her former bandmates was much harder for her than for some of the others, admitting she had "some hesitations."
"Doing something like this … you have to make sure your stamina’s up. I just didn’t want to feel like I wasn’t up to par with the girls," she said.
Fimbres, who's a mother and stepmother, also looked back on her time under Bad Boy management, saying she's learned a lot with age. "There’s a lot of things that aren't really acceptable now — we wouldn't have sleep for days. We weren’t being managed correctly," she said, adding, "whatever they threw at us, we went with the flow — but now we have a lot more control, and that’s always nice."

According to a previous report from The Blast, the Danity Kane reunion tour wasn't short of drama, as Dawn Richard shaded the group with a post on X, formerly Twitter.
"Even without being told about the reunion, I will always be a yes to Danity Kane," Richard captioned a previous video of her and the girls performing. "That chapter lives in me forever."
"I always choose to perform these records out of love for the music, the memories, and the legacy we built together. So here is a little something for the DK fans. I love you always," she concluded.
