Former "Ink Master" contestant Tyler Nolan is pushing back hard after being arrested in Florida over a domestic violence incident alleged to have occurred last fall. Nolan was taken into custody on Tuesday in Palm Beach County in connection with a simple battery case after his ex-girlfriend provided authorities with what officials described as evidence of abuse. Deputies reportedly responded to a call at a residence in Loxahatchee, Florida, where Tyler Nolan’s former girlfriend showed them videos that allegedly captured physical incidents involving the tattoo artist.

According to documents reviewed by the Daily Mail, one clip shows Nolan’s ex holding a towel when he allegedly pulled on it, causing her to be “yanked forward and downward.” In another video referenced by deputies, Nolan is purportedly seen grabbing his ex-girlfriend by the arm. Authorities also cited a separate clip in which he allegedly yanked a blanket from her grasp and threw it back at her.
Deputies said the videos provided enough probable cause for a warrant to be issued, with the footage reportedly filmed in October 2025, per Nolan’s ex-girlfriend’s statement to law enforcement. Nolan was then booked into the Palm Beach County jail in connection with the allegations, according to the report.
Nolan appeared at a court hearing on Thursday, where he was instructed to keep his distance from his ex-girlfriend, deputies said.

Earlier Tuesday, Nolan reportedly filed a motion asking the court to set aside the arrest warrant, claiming he never received proper notice about the charges.
He also told the outlet that he had previously filed for a protective order against his ex-girlfriend before she made the allegations against him. Nolan claimed she had been verbally and physically abusive, though the case was dismissed after he no-showed a hearing, according to the report.

In 2016, Nolan also made headlines after he was stopped by Cocoa Beach police while driving in Florida, an encounter that escalated quickly, according to TMZ.
Per the outlet, officers said they smelled marijuana as they approached his car, which prompted a search. TMZ reported that during the search, police found two bags of marijuana, six pills of ecstasy, and less than a gram of cocaine. The outlet also reported that officers discovered three firearms, including a shotgun, along with 900 rounds of ammo.
Nolan told authorities the weapons were in the car because he was visiting shooting ranges in the area, adding that he was charged with three felonies in connection with the incident before later being released on bail.

For now, Nolan is denying the allegations, but with the case now in motion, all eyes are on what happens next in court.
