The reality TV star who rose to fame as a teen mom on MTV's "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom" previously decided to open a new chapter of her life after she hit the three-decade milestone.
Although it seems Farrah Abraham's strengths in these new waters are small, she is determined to effect a positive change if she comes into office. The 34-year-old has previously made a social media uproar with her political stance.

Abraham has announced her intentions of getting into politics. Her first attempt at ruling the realm is to run for Mayor of Austin, Texas. She made the announcement on her social media, but it seems she does not have her facts right.
The "Teen Mom" alum wrote in her statement that she was running for mayor in 2026 and included her plans and strategies as the potential mayor.
The media personality sat with TMZ for a quick chat, where she was astonished to find out that there are no mayoral elections this year. As confirmed by the city hall, the next election is in 2028, a wide two-year gap.
She was stunned, and as she kept talking, more confusion reigned. Abraham kept mixing up the election cycles and differences between local, federal, and district offices. She also thought that all cities elect their mayors at the same time.
The reality TV star has already published a campaign website and is seeking political donations. Concerning the calendar mix-up, she quickly covered up, saying that extra time would be to her benefit.

The first time Abraham went public with her political ambition was just before she turned 30. She shared on X how she plans to run for a government position as she enters a new decade of life.
At that time, she expressed her readiness to enter the political arena, telling Fox News that her inspiration to pursue a place in politics stemmed from the mindset that everyone, but especially women, has a place in politics.
"I do believe more mothers and women need to be in government positions, and I say that in a nice way and with no disrespect to other government officials," the mom of one said.
Furthermore, she revealed that she would not be the first in her family to get into politics. She detailed that her aunt and stepmom worked as government officials but retired early because "the environments were very depressing." Seeing this, she decided it was time for a change.

Despite coming under heat for not being adequately prepared and informed of the intricacies surrounding politics, Abraham claims she has taken time to study before making her decision. Her main goal is to empower the younger generations with a keen focus on women's and children's rights.
She disclosed that running for office was not an overnight decision, but a well-thought-out one. She has been studying for years, exploring her options and creating a strategy on the issues she would love to address.
Abraham maintained that she had the people's best interest at heart and thus already began paperwork for a future seat in office while figuring out just where her advocacy work and goals would be best suited.
"I'm studying all of this and seeing what is the best fit for me. I'm shocked by how low some of the age limits are and what people can do. I'm also shocked that there are not more young people running," she said.
