The former TV presenters are reportedly extending invitations to their exes, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, three years after a media firestorm erupted over their workplace romance, which led to their firing from "GMA3" and the simultaneous collapse of both their marriages.

According to Us Weekly, they are "not expecting" Shue and Fiebig to show up, even though they extend the invitation, but Robach particularly "wishes they could be a blended and normal family and all get along."

They went further to share that the lovebirds' wedding will not be a "celebrity-heavy" event, and will not be attended by "anyone from 'GMA.'"

The "Amy & T.J." podcast hosts have had to fight to change the narrative that surrounded their relationship following their ousting from ABC.

Holmes insisted back in December 2023 that they didn't cheat on their respective exes even though they were married to them at the time their affair became public.

"We were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn't the case," Holmes claimed, per Page Six. "We both at that point were in divorce proceedings."

Robach agreed, saying they each "had attorneys and mediators [and] were in the middle of divorces."

In December 2025, the pair dished on the secret to their happy and healthy relationship during a conversation with People Magazine at iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball 2025.

"Friendship, the foundation of friendship, period, point blank," Holmes said, as Robach quipped, "Without a doubt."

He continued, "If you got a friend you love and you respect ... you end up in a relationship that's still the foundation of friendship."

Robach added, "Yes, if you can laugh with someone, you can live a long time with someone. You can get through almost anything if you can laugh together."

The red carpet event seemingly turned into a family affair as the couple posed alongside Holmes' daughter Sabine, and Robach's girls Annalise and Ava.

Meanwhile, their relationship has continued to set tongues wagging, especially after they got engaged in September.

Reports claim Robach likely bought her engagement ring, with an insider claiming that Holmes is "notoriously cheap."

"Amy's net worth is around $50 million. TJ's is about $7 million. Everyone knows she's always had the bigger paycheck. The bigger severance. The bigger savings," an insider said, per the National Enquirer.

Another source alleged, "Amy wanted the fairytale. T.J. wanted the photo op. The ring looks like his taste and her budget."

According to the news outlet, friends are concerned that Robach is taking the lead and paying for it all, both emotionally and financially.

"If she bought her own ring, it wouldn't be the first time she paid for love," a close friend noted.
