Hilary Duff seems not to be losing sleep over Ashley Tisdale's scathing essay!
The actress was spotted looking all smiles and unbothered about the ongoing speculations that the Disney alum's latest essay was about her and some groups of women who made life unbearable for her.
Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor, and Mandy Moore were previously in a friendship group with Ashley Tisdale before they fell out due to unknown reasons.

The TV personality was spotted on the streets of Los Angeles on Monday, taking a stroll with her friends and her baby in the stroller. Duff then went on to grab a bite with some of her girl pals after dropping off her daughter at a dance class.
The actress looked chic in an all black ensemble paired with black boots and her hair packed into a sleek bun. Duff accessorized her look with a few gold chains, a black Chanel purse, and a pink backpack, possibly belonging to her daughter, per Page Six.
Duff and her current husband, Matthew Koma, are parents to three children, including Banks Violet Bair, Mae James Bair, and Townes Meadow Bair.
The Disney Alum Previously Addressed The Topic Of Giving Up On Poor Friendships

Tisdale's essay sent spectators down the rabbit hole of looking for any hint from members of her former friend group that may suggest what went wrong. Alas! Duff herself spoke up about how she gauges her friendship, and she knows exactly when to walk out.
As reported by The Blast, she boasted that she has always been a great judge of character, which has helped her remain in great friendships by filtering out the noise. Duff then went on to describe her role in the friendship circle, which involved her being very direct and honest despite not being a fan of conflict.
The actress also gave an idea of how she deals with friendship breakups, noting that every now and then, she has to cleanse her circle. Duff assured everyone that "it's OK to edit. But you feel like a bad person when you're doing it."
Ashley Tisdale Recalled The Moment Everything Began To Fall Apart In The Friendship Group

The "High School Musical" star, in her nearly 1,500-word essay, which was published on The Cut, revisited the memories she took away from her time in the mom group, which began as a place of solace.
The Blast stated that the actress revealed her initial burning desire to find a group that would help her get through the nights and the mood swings without feeling judged.
When her new group came into her life, the actress held on to the glimmer of hope that all was finally well and she would be able to find balance between her work and life until they started hanging out without her.
Tisdale confessed that seeing them have so much fun without her had her questioning whether she was cool or not. The media personality emphasized that she felt trapped in the politics of social hierarchy, which was more related to high school friendships than a circle filled with adults.
Hilary Duff's Husband Slammed Tisdale For Her Essay

Tisdale's article instantly caught the attention of several people, including that of Duff's husband, who, unlike his wife, gave a very vivid reaction on his social media handle. Taking to his Instagram, Koma creatively attached a picture of his head to Tisdale's body as it appeared on the cover of The Cut.
He then attached a caption on the picture, describing Tisdale as a "self obsessed tone deaf person" who made the friendship unbearable for the rest of the squad. Koma hinted that due to Tisdale's unbearable behavior, the other moms were forced to "shift focus to their actual toddlers."
Koma's grand act of defense got a subtle nod from other members of the friend group, like Moore, who gave him a shoutout for being "one of the most talented and generous humans" she is lucky to know.
Sources close to Trainor shared that she was too busy to even give all of Tisdale's story the time of day, and her feelings are completely directed towards her child.
Ashley Tisdale Denied The Alleged Undertones In Her Essay

Reacting to the outrage and speculations that trailed the article, a rep from Tisdale's camp explained that the story was written with literally no one on her mind.
The rep emphasized that Tisdale wrote the story with hopes to share her experiences in the toxic mom group with the public and further connect with them on some level.
They also insisted that claims about Tisdale's political leanings and how they contributed to the fallout of her friendship were utterly false. Additionally, the representative explained that the actress is a registered member of the Democratic Party.
While it seemed everyone took Duff's side, her sister, Haylie, with whom she reportedly has ongoing issues, seemingly stood in solidarity with Tisdale by giving her a joint post with The Cut about the article alike on Instagram.
Hilary Duff sure knows how to handle drama like a pro!
