Emma Stone stole the show at the 2026 Golden Globes with her butter yellow-themed outfit and taut, youthful look, although she didn't go home with any award.
The 37-year-old actress also reignited wild fan-generated speculations that she went under the knife to achieve a more ageless appearance.
Emma Stone, who wore a bob to the award ceremony, recently commented on her "unexpectedly fun" growing-out process, after having to shave her hair off for "Bugonia."
Emma Stone Sizzled At The Golden Globes In Yellow

Stone turned heads as she joined several other A-list stars at the 2026 Golden Globes outside The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
While the actress was among the nominees for Best Actress with "Bugonia," it was her young and wrinkle-free face that stole the show.
She donned a butter yellow skirt and paired it with a cropped top of the same color, flashing her toned abs in the process. Many fans speculated that she'd secretly gone under the knife to achieve her taut look.
The rumors surrounding Stone's appearance didn't start now as wild rumors spread about her "new face" back in September 2025 when she snapped a photo alongside Blackpink's Lisa Manobal at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week.
Stone faced the same speculation again at the October premiere of her film "Bugonia," with some branding her "unrecognizable."
Fans Speculate On The Actress's Stunning Appearance

On social media, fans couldn't stop talking about the actress's "new" appearance at the show, with some attributing it to surgery.
"Her face looks so different to me lately. Hair is cute though," a Reddit user commented on a thread about her photo on the red carpet.
Another wrote, "She's had a great facelift done. I find looking at her kinda uncanny valley now though."
"Did she do some procedure on her face, or is it the makeup? She looks different," someone else noted, while another said, "She looks SO good, but it doesn't look like her."
Other fans took a dig at her fashion choice. "Whoever styled that should be fired, sorry," one person said.
"I don't mean to sound overly negative, but I think her fashion choices have gotten worse. During her La La Land days, she dressed like she really wanted to win, whereas now she looks like she's just wearing whatever. And maybe that's a good thing, but I just don't remember loving any of her recent looks," another user penned.
A Plastic Surgery Expert Addressed Rumors Surrounding Emma Stone's Youthful Transformation

While Stone has never spoken about going under the knife, and her physical appearance may simply be due to a good skin care routine, experts have chimed in on the possible cosmetic enhancements the movie star may have had done.
Dr. Jonny Betteridge, a well-known London aesthetic doctor and founder of JB Aesthetics, drew comparisons between Emma's current appearance and her look from four years ago, suggesting that "these changes could be consistent with an upper blepharoplasty and an endoscopic temporal brow lift and mid-face lift."
"(They) lift and tighten the mid to upper face, like the cheeks, temples, and brows, using small incisions and a tiny camera called an endoscope," Dr. Betteridge explained, per the Daily Mail.
Blepharoplasty is a procedure that targets the upper eyelid, trimming away loose skin so that the eyes can appear more open and youthful.
The surgery is usually done alongside a brow lift, a procedure that involves making tiny incisions hidden along the hairline and raising the underlying facial muscles. This usually results in a reduction in sagging across the upper face, especially around the forehead and eyes.
Dr. Betteridge told the news outlet that these cosmetic procedures are considered "minimally invasive" and are "typically done on people in their 30s to 40s who are showing mild to moderate signs of facial aging."
Emma Stone Weighs In On Her 'Unexpectedly Fun' Hair-Growing-Out Process

Part of the requirement for her to play CEO Michelle Fuller in "Begonia" required Stone to shave her hair onscreen, and now that she has grown it out successfully with the help of her hairstylist, Mara Roszak, she's giving tips on how to go about it like a pro.
"The growing out process has been unexpectedly very fun," she said, per Vogue. "The first three months were the hardest part because I wore a beanie constantly. It was very short and buzzed, and I found it just kind of boring to always be wearing a beanie. But once it got to pixie length, from then on, it's been a really fun process. You get to try so many different styles."
"I don't know if I have any good advice for people growing out their hair, but I would say probably just embrace it," she continued. "Fighting against it or being mad about the length that it's at is a true waste of time. There's always something fun you can figure out to do with it."
The Actress's Film Didn't Win Any Awards At The Golden Globes

Stone lost the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy award to "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" star Rose Byrne, but this didn't stop her from enjoying the award ceremony.
According to the Daily Mail, Stone was seen chatting up some of her Hollywood colleagues and was pictured hanging out backstage with "Wicked" director Jon M. Chu, and also posed for a selfie with Alicia Silverstone.
Her film was nominated in two other categories, namely Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for Jesse Plemons and the Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy award. However, the film didn't pick up any awards.
