Emily Ratajkowski 'Disrespectful' Shimmying In Bikini In A Grocery Store

Emily Ratajkowski has attracted negative comments from her own Instagram followers as she drops an array of photos and videos. The supermodel, 34, opened her Thursday share with a very suggestive video of herself semi-twerking in a convenience store, with the footage showing her in a tight sheer skirt and barely there, bikini top. Grinding her hips around while flaunting her world-famous figure, EmRata also included a photo of herself in a hijab from her recent Abu Dhabi trip, and for some, the combination was highly offensive. Emily made December 2025 headlines for jetting out the Middle East. Her caption, however, was very NYC as she mentioned New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdami.

Looking like she was ready to hit the beach, the swimwear designer modeled a minuscule string bikini top in black, exposing her back via a halterneck while flashing a thong beneath her sheer black skirt.

Displaying her incredible proportions before sharing a covered-up shot, Emily wore her hair down for her opening slide, but she covered it up in her second by stunning in a white robe and hijab from Abu Dhabi. Emily switched back to sexy mode in her third image, pushing the boundaries in a lifted t-shirt that partly exposed her ample chest, closing her gallery with a sweet shot of herself and son Sylvester walking down a street.

Emily welcomed her son in 2021 and shares him with her ex-husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard. "Mamdani’s new york!!" she wrote.

The comments section has exploded. "Anything for attention huh," one fan replied. Another gained over 25 likes for saying: "love you queen but you’re just disrespecting the hijab." Echoing the thought, a third said: "So disrespectful, in the first picture twerking, in the second picture wearing a headscarf in the mosque...."

Emily was in the United Arab Emirates for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and also hosted Experience Abu Dhabi alongside actress Ana de Armas and actor Jason Statham.

Emily Ratajkowski continues to promote her best-selling Inamorata brand, founded in 2017. In the above photos, she lounged around a bed in a black string bikini from her label, showing off her killer cleavage and long legs while plugging her merch.

"I think we’ll continue to expand into lingerie and ready-to-wear; right now, we call that category body. Our bike shorts are one of our best-selling products, even over swim. It’s a great staple, and people know that we make good ones and you can wear them all the time," she told FashionWeekDaily.
