'RHOC' Star Gina Kirschenheiter Gets Engaged To Longtime BF After Abuse Claims

2025 New Year's Eve will forever be a memorable date sealed in Gina Kirschenheiter's heart.

Wedding bells are ringing for the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star and her boyfriend of almost seven years, Travis Mullen. He got down on one knee, completely surprising his bae as they celebrated the dawn of a new year with their kids. This comes after the latest fiancée was accused of getting physical with Mullen by his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen.

Gina Kirschenheiter was previously married to the father of her three kids, Matthew Kirschenheiter. They remained together for eight years before finalizing their divorce in 2019. That same year, she got together with Mullen, who also has three kids and has since navigated running their blended family.

2025 ended on a beautiful note for Kirschenheiter as her beau finally put a ring on it. On New Year's Eve, while the couple and their six kids were on a ski vacation in Big Bear, California, Mullen made the night extra special by getting down on one knee.

The whole family was busy with the food and celebration when Mullen slipped Kirschenheiter away to the back porch with the guise of getting the right spot for a family photo. As he popped the question, showing her the sparkling 6-carat, oval-cut diamond ring, the TV star was in complete shock.

"My nervous system was trying to catch up to what just happened in this magical moment, and I was also trying to process the iceberg that was being presented to me as well!" she expressed. She said the sweet three-letter word, "yes!" and they shared a loving kiss.

It was entirely unexpected for the on-screen star, she told PEOPLE that even when Mullen suggested they go out for photos underneath the string lights, she just felt he wanted to capture something nice for memories.

Their children were also surprised, including Mullen's oldest daughter, Presley, who hid in the trees to record the special moment.

The father of three put so much thought into the proposal as well as the ring. He partnered with Wove, ensuring that each feature on the ring represents a part of their life or tells a story of their love.

The ring is designed in 18K yellow gold and highlights a 6-carat, oval-cut center diamond in a four-prong setting to represent the couple as one. The center stone is bordered by smaller round diamonds, three on each side, to denote the couple's blended six children.

The CEO of WoveMade, Bernie Dufrene, reiterated this fact, stating that from the initial stages of designing the masterpiece, Mullen was more about the meaning and a design that tells their story rather than the aesthetics and carat weight.

A little over three years ago, Kirschenheiter was dragged for physically assaulting her then-boyfriend by his ex-wife, Meghan. Meghan claimed in court documents that the TV star pushed Mullen down the stairs at their home, which they share with their kids in Orange County.

She further noted that the incident took place in the middle of the night, but her daughter, Presley, was an eyewitness as she got out of bed due to the noise.

Mullen and Kirschenheiter were allegedly in a fight when she pushed him down the stairs. He banged his head into a wall while she kept throwing pictures off the wall.

Though the other children in the house were not mentioned in the court documents, it is unclear whether they also witnessed the incident. The Blast shared that during the fight, Mullen called his then-girlfriend an alcoholic.

Kirschenheiter previously shared her approach to life that makes balancing motherhood, work, and her career a breeze. She disclosed that she sees all aspects as part of life and puts efficiency into her job. This makes sure that spending quality time with the family does not suffer as she chases her goals.

She also revealed that the little hacks make the most significant difference and encouraged other moms to give themselves breaks when balancing gets tough.

As shared by The Blast, back-to-school time for the kids is an exciting ime for Kirschenheiter, and as chaotic as it gets, she stays on top of her game by keeping things as organised and following her lists for each kid.

In her previous marriage to Matthew, the mom of three suffered physical abuse from her husband at the time. While they still lived together, she had situations that escalated to violence, ultimately leading to the arrest and conviction of Matthew.

Things got worse, and she had to request an emergency domestic violence restraining order against him in 2019, after he had allegedly choked her during an argument. She sought the need to protect herself as he also hit her during the same argument.

According to court records obtained by The Blast, Matthew was then sentenced to three years of formal probation, 180 days in county jail, eight hours of community service, ordered to pay restitution, and attend a batterer's treatment program.
