Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have been fueling reconciliation rumors after several recent public outings together, but despite appearances, sources say the former couple is very much still broken up. The rumors gained traction after Fox and MGK were seen together multiple times, including outings to the L.A. Zoo, the Getty Center, and even a vacation in Costa Rica. While the appearances led fans to believe the couple might be giving their relationship another shot, insiders insist those moments were centered around family time, not rekindled romance.
Are MGK And Megan Fox Back Together?

Multiple sources tell TMZ that while the pair has been spotted together on multiple occasions in recent months, their relationship is strictly about co-parenting their daughter, Saga, who was born in March. According to insiders, Fox and MGK are currently living separately, with Megan having full-time custody of their baby.
Sources are adamant that there is no romantic reconciliation happening behind the scenes. MGK reportedly only sees Megan when he is spending time with their daughter, and the two are said to be coordinating parenting duties as needed and nothing more.
Megan Fox Previously Confirmed Engagement Was Off

Back in March 2024, Fox addressed the status of her relationship with MGK during an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, where she confirmed that their engagement had ended sometime in 2023. “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” Fox told host Alex Cooper at the time. “I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se.”
She did, however, acknowledge that their connection runs deep. “[He] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what,” she said, adding that while she would always feel connected to MGK, she wasn’t willing to explain the relationship further.
When Cooper pointed out that Fox and MGK had previously been engaged and appeared to call it off, Fox confirmed, “All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred.”
Despite calling off their engagement, the pair appeared to remain connected. Months later, Fox made a surprise cameo in MGK’s music video for “Lonely Road," his collaboration with Jelly Roll, which then sparked speculation that the two were still dating, just not engaged anymore.
MGK And Megan Fox’s Pregnancy Reveal Came Just Weeks Before Everything Changed

On November 11, 2024, Fox announced she was pregnant with MGK’s child, sharing a striking nude photo on Instagram in which she was covered in oily black paint. “Nothing is ever really lost,” she wrote in the caption. “Welcome back.”
The pregnancy marked their first child together. Fox is also mom to Noah, Bodhi, and Journey with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while MGK shares a teenage daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with ex Emma Cannon.
However, just weeks later, on December 10, 2024, it was reported that Fox and MGK had once again broken up, a split that sources say still stands today.
'Lost Americana' Has Fans Reading Between The Lines

The recent public sightings have only added fuel to the fire as Machine Gun Kelly pours his emotions into new music that appears to directly address the breakup. On his latest album, "Lost Americana," the rapper-turned-rocker seemingly opens up about the split for the first time on the track “Treading Water,” delivering some of his most vulnerable lyrics to date.
“This’ll be the last time you hear me say sorry / That’ll be the last tear you waste on me crying / I broke this home,” MGK sings on the song, a line many believe references the end of his relationship with Fox. The emotional track reportedly reflects events that unfolded shortly before Thanksgiving, with MGK later rapping, “I’m lookin’ at the kids’ faces / Sittin’ in the driveway while I pack up suitcases / I just ruined their holiday, and lies don’t die, they grow.”
MGK Appears To Reference Daughter Saga In Emotional New Song

The song takes an even more personal turn near the end of the second verse, where MGK appears to reference their baby daughter, Saga Blade. “I broke this home, but I’ll change for our daughter, so she’s not alone,” he sings, signaling remorse, reflection, and a desire to move forward as a father.
With MGK laying his heartbreak bare on record and the former couple continuing to appear together publicly, fans can’t help but wonder whether the emotional honesty behind "Lost Americana" is simply part of his healing process, or something more.
