Raven-Symoné and her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, spent much of 2025 in the headlines, and now the latter is attempting to clear up some of the suggestions about her marriage to the Disney legend.
In addition to repulsing fans after sharing intimate details about which kinds of sex toys she lets her wife use on her, Raven-Symoné and Maday also faced pushback after talking about their finances.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Symoné and Maday sparked chatter on social media when they made interesting comments about their finances on their shared podcast, "Tea Time with Raven and Miranda."
On the episode, Symoné reflected on her wedding with Maday while speaking with guest Robby Hoffman. During the conversation, the "That's So Raven" actress stated that one of the reasons she was excited about marriage was the prospect of joining a "rich" family.
When Hoffman fired back, insisting that Symoné herself was rich, Maday interrupted, "But not as rich as me." But that's not all she wrote. Maday continued, "I didn't marry Raven for money. I'm richer."

Social media users were incensed by Maday's comments, with many suggesting the podcast host was attempting to embarrass the "Raven's Home" performer.
"It's something real guttersnipe about Raven's wife," someone wrote, while another said, "Is SHE richer or [are] her PARENTS richer? Cause I have no idea who Raven's [wife] is."
Another user wrote, "The emasculation of Raven Symoné," and a fourth shared, "This is beyond weird. It's always been weird with Blondie."
Maday Clears The Air With Nick Cannon About Comments On Finances
While Maday and Symoné ignored the criticism, Maday finally addressed the backlash during an episode of Nick Cannon and Courtney Bee's "We Playin' Spades" podcast.
"You know mudflaps on trucks?" Maday asked. "My family invented those." As she went on, Maday explained that her "great, great whatevers" founded the business; however, her dad's side of the family was left out of the business deal. Instead, Maday's father created his own company, and according to her, "He did very well for himself."
Maday stated further that she discussed her finances in August 2025 to dispel rumors that she was only with Symoné because of her wealth and fame. "The reality of the situation is, though, financially, I've been very fortunate to grow up in a family that had money. I have not wanted for anything in my life and that's privilege," she said.
"I share that information to just give more context to why meeting Raven had nothing to do with what was in the bank," she added before acknowledging that Symoné "is wealthier than I am on my own ... because she's been working for 40 years."
Symoné Enrages Users After Speaking About Intimate Bedroom Details

Weeks after their conversation about money broke the internet, Symoné was the topic of conversation again after sharing intimate details about her sexual escapades while speaking with TS Madison.
In the clip, Madison, a trans activist and podcast host, asked whether she and Maday used a "strap" while in bed. After admitting that she and Maday do use such toys, Symoné revealed some of the bizarre rules she's set in place for the device. "Listen, but it can't be a color. It can't be pink," she said, adding that it "has to be a skin tone."
