The Rapper Warns Trolls To Be Prepared For Stefon Diggs' Victory

Cardi B added that once Diggs emerges victorious in the case, she wants haters and trolls to get down on their knees begging for forgiveness. She claimed they must apologize as loudly as they criticized her partner.

"I put that on my two-month-old son in the name of the lord!! That's how confident I am," Cardi B noted. Her words came days after Diggs's attorney, David Meier, refuted the physical assault allegations in a statement.

Meier argued that the female chef's claims were "unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated -- because they did not occur." He stressed that Diggs was being accused of strangulation because of "an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee's satisfaction."

More About The NFL Star's Former Employee's Strangulation Claims

According to an incident report obtained by PEOPLE, Diggs' former employee first reported her allegations on December 16, two weeks after he allegedly attacked her. She told officers at the Dedham Police Department that the dispute stemmed from back pay.

The female chef claimed things between her and Diggs escalated after she asked him about the salary he allegedly owed. She noted that he came into her bedroom after they had "been having an ongoing text exchange over money owed to [her]."

The accuser, per the report, alleged that Diggs became "angered" as they started discussing her owed pay. She accused him of smacking her across the face before choking her "using the crook of his elbow around her neck," causing her to have trouble breathing.

The Accuser Initially Did Not Want To File A Police Report

According to the woman, she "could've blacked out" during the alleged strangulation as Diggs "tightened his grip" on her neck when she tried to pry his arm away. She noted that he released her at some point and threw her on the bed before leaving.

The accuser added that Diggs quipped, "thought so," when leaving her bedroom. Surprisingly, she initially told the authorities that she did not want to file a report against the NFL star when she first dropped her allegations against him on December 16.

However, the woman changed her mind on December 23 when she asked the police to move forward with charging Diggs. Before deciding to pursue the case, the chef shared her alleged text message exchange with Diggs detailing their salary dispute.

Cardi B's Partner Broke His Silence On The Allegations

As reported by RollingOut, Diggs addressed the scathing charges against him for the first time while speaking to reporters. He confessed that he couldn't open up about the situation sooner due to the stress involved.

Additionally, Diggs explained that the ongoing legal case stopped him from sharing too much. Nonetheless, he admitted that the past few days have been a "very emotional time" for him, and he was taken aback by the events unfolding around him.

Although he could not share more details about the case or his side of the story, Diggs assured reporters that his primary focus was football and preparing for the New England Patriots' season finale. His team also echoed their support for him amid the case.
