Prince Harry edges one step closer to setting things straight with the royal family!
The father-of-two may likely get back his security in the United Kingdom following a thorough review by the government after he lost an appeal over the same issue last year.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, alongside their son, Prince Archie, dashed out of the U.K. in 2020, after resigning from their royal roles.
Prince Harry’s Security Review Was Granted In December

Sources close to the situation have shared that things are heading in the right direction toward Harry getting his full armed security installed in the U.K.
Additionally, insiders expressed that an official review has also affirmed that the royal meets the requirements for inclusion in the security arrangement, which taxpayers fund.
The royal and vip executive committee (Ravec), which is made up of the government’s Home Office, the Metropolitan Police, and the royal household, reportedly carried out a risk assessment.
From their evaluation, insiders noted that they discovered the criteria to grant Harry and his immediate family top-level security in the United Kingdom had been met.
The Home Office is also reportedly on board to get the security reinstated. As noted by PEOPLE, there is an established belief that if any external factor does not interfere with the process, Harry will get armed guards and other security benefits assigned to him when he was a working royal.
The Invictus Games Founder Has Unfinished Business In The United Kingdom

The Netflix Star is expected to return to the United Kingdom later in the month for an ongoing court case against Associated Newspapers. The lawsuit extends to Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, and Mail Online, which are all affiliated with Associated Newspapers.
Beyond that, the review and eventual reversal if it falls through may finally create an avenue for the Netflix star and his two kids to reunite with King Charles, who is still battling cancer.
The last time the Prince was in the United Kingdom for charity events in London and Nottingham last September, he reportedly had a brief reunion with his father. However, the visit was overshadowed by reports that filtered out in October that a female stalker was on his trail the entire time he was in the U.K.
Inside Prince Harry’s September Visit To King Charles

As stated by The Blast last September, sources close to Harry and Charles described the reunion as a genuine one, which witnessed lots of tears and emotions from the duo. The insiders continued that the Prince brought along framed pictures of Charles’ grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, to share with the King.
A spokesperson, however, clarified that the framed photograph handed over to Charles did not contain pictures of the Duke and Duchess. Harry’s visit came a year and a few months after he made a quick trip to the United Kingdom to be with Charles following the revelation of his cancer diagnosis.
Meanwhile, the Invictus Games founder debunked claims that his visit to Charles was awkward and felt very formal. Harry’s camp insisted that he was treated as one of the royals and a family member, rather than a stranger who lost touch with the base.
Harry Expressed Disappointment After Losing His Appeal Over Security Withdrawal

Harry spent a chunk of last year in court slugging it out with the U.K. government in his appeal for them to reinstate his security in the country. The media personality’s security detail was withdrawn after he left the U.K. for California alongside his family after a protracted battle with the media.
After his appeal was tossed out, The Blast shared that Harry said this: “I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point.”
He continued that he would greatly miss his time in the country and expressed disappointment in the fact that his children would not get to experience what it felt like to grow up in the country as he did.
He accused the security committee of downplaying his security by reducing him to a low-risk entity from a previous high-risk without a proper examination of the situation.
Prince Harry Celebrated The Memory Of His Late Mother, Princess Diana

Following his huge loss in court, the father-of-two turned his attention to celebrating the legacy of his mother through the Diana Award, which was established in 1999 in memory of the late Princess.
The destination was Las Vegas at the ServiceNow Knowledge conference, where the Netflix star joined the CEO of the award, Dr. Tessy Ojo, to launch a new initiative targeted towards urging businesses to invest in youth leadership.
Harry spoke on the importance of inclusivity when it comes to young people in the workforce and in leadership roles. The award was reportedly inspired by Princess Diana's belief in the potential of young people to make a difference in the world.
It has experienced immense support from both Prince Harry and Prince William, even after she stepped back from his royal duties six years ago.
Is 2026 the year everything falls in place for Prince Harry and the royal family?
