Tommy Lee Jones' Daughter's Final Moments Filled With Cocaine Use To Ring In The New Year, Witness Claims

More details have emerged in the shocking death of Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, Victoria Jones.

According to a new report, a witness at the scene told first responders that she had been using cocaine in the hours leading up to her passing on New Year's Day at age 34.

A law enforcement source who once had an encounter with Victoria Jones also described the actress as a "problem child," and suspected that her death must be linked to her use of a drug laced with fentanyl.

All signs continue to point towards drug use in the death of Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, Victoria Jones.

According to TMZ, a female witness at the death scene told first responders that she'd been using cocaine before her death and was in the company of 3 to 4 other people.

The group also reportedly told emergency services that they were ringing in the new year before the sad incident occurred.

Victoria was found unresponsive on the 14th floor of the luxury Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on Thursday, before paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department arrived around 3 am and declared her dead.

It was initially suspected she died from a drug overdose, as audio clips obtained by the news outlet revealed that the call for the incident came in as a "code 3 for the overdose, color change," as well as the blue tinge law enforcement discovered on her lips and fingernails.

Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. She had a decent screen career after spending time in Hollywood  as a child, appearing alongside her father in "Men in Black II" and "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada."

Following her passing, her famous father and the entire Jones family released a statement, revealing their heartbreak.

"We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you," the statement read.

The investigation into her death is still underway, with the San Francisco Medical Examiner expected to conduct a toxicology report soon to determine the official cause of death. However, there were no signs of foul play, and no drug paraphernalia was found at the scene, nor was there any indication that her death was a suicide.

The last year appears to have been a challenging one for the former child star, as she had a few run-ins with the law, including one for a drug-related issue.

Court records indicate she had been arrested at least three times in the year 2025, among which was in April when she was arrested in Napa County for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence, as well as obstructing a peace officer.

Again in May, she was detained in Santa Cruz, and then in June, when she was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery following an argument at a resort that authorities say was fueled by substance use.

According to the Daily Mail, Victoria got physical with her husband, Navek Ceja, due to her alleged use of drugs in the months leading up to her death.

The vineyard owner told the Police Department in April last year that she'd been taking the substance for 48 hours when they were called to his family's prestigious winery, Ceja Vineyards, at the time.

Cops arrived to meet an incoherent Victoria who was talking fast, and "was fighting with her body movements." She also had dried blood on one nostril, and she told the cops that the 911 call had been a "mistake."

They also found a "white residue" on her tongue and discovered a small plastic bag containing white powder in her coat. She was then arrested and charged with being under the influence of drugs, resisting arrest, and possessing a controlled substance.

Two months after that, she and Ceja got physical at the luxury Carneros Resort and Spa in Sonoma, because he allegedly confronted her over her drug use.

Charging documents show the Ceja, 44, with a reddened face as Victoria allegedly slapped him twice across his face. It was then that she was handed a single count of misdemeanor domestic violence.

The cases were still pending at the time of her death, as she was expected to appear in court on January 20 for the domestic violence count.

A source told the news outlet that Victoria was a "notorious boozer known to be easy with her fists" around North Beach and San Francisco.

"She spent a lot of time palling around, getting drunk in all sorts of confrontations at bars and restaurants," the insider said. "A lot of people say she just got into drunken fights, commotions over the course of time there."
