Kate Hudson Reveals The 'Fun' Reason She is Into Astrology

Kate Hudson is legs deep into astrology, and she is not holding back on her reasons.

The actress, like many other entertainers, revealed that she is into astrology and not just on the surface level. Holding on to the belief that it plays a significant role in the events of her life; she admits that the nuance of fun attached to astrology enhances her involvement.

Kate Hudson is also all about family and building a cool relationship with her kids and their friends despite her busy schedule. She openly speaks about how much she prioritizes her children and family unit.

Hudson has previously spoken about her zodiac sign and how proud she is to be an Aries. Now she admits that one of the things she likes to do for fun is getting her chart read by different people.

The actress stated that she is big time into astrology, noting that there are other variants, Eastern and Western. Furthermore, she admitted that she is involved in all astrological forms.

The "Almost Famous" actress then spilled a bit of advice to newcomers, recommending that they dig into their entire star chart rather than just the Zodiac or sun signs. She explained that chart readings are interesting, especially when skeptics begin to make sense of the system after having their charts read.

Talking to PEOPLE, Hudson dished out a soft caution, "Getting a chart read, of course, is a wonderful thing to take with a grain of salt, because not everybody's the best reader. And I think instinctually, we know best."

After advising people to listen to their instincts while diving into astrology, Hudson stated that the combination of the mind and the signs enables one to pave one's own roadmap. 

"Astrology is just a fun way to look at, maybe energetically, how things are aligning," she said before adding that it helps one assess the different parts of life that demand focus and priority. 

Hudson's outlook on astrology is that it is a fun reminder of things that could be positive in life. This is not the first time she has spoken on the subject.

Earlier this year, she appeared on Kylie Kelce's "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, where the pair bonded over their shared Zodiac sign. With both of them being Aries, they gushingly referred to it as the "best sign of the zodiac."

The list includes Cameron Diaz, who checks in with her astrologist on business matters, Lady Gaga, who allegedly ensures the stars align for her shows, and Angelina Jolie, who even had a Buddhist Monk help her decide on her wedding date.

Megan Fox is not left out of the mix. She is also involved in Palmistry, exercising her psychic abilities by using healing crystals, opening her chakras, and practicing tarot.

Hudson's three children come from three different relationships. She had her first son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, her second son, Bingham, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, and her daughter, Rani, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

While previously speaking about her family dynamics, the actress excitedly disclosed how close she is with her kids and how they relate so well. She cited that her teenage son, Bingham, still loves to hang out with her, and even his friends love spending time at their house, chatting with her in the kitchen.

As shared by The Blast, the 46-year-old noted that she believes that although her children make fun of her, they still see her as a cool mom.

Hudson shared that her kids are her priority in life, and she strives to maintain her blended family as one unit. She considers the time she would have to spend away from them before accepting any jobs, as she never wants to be apart from them for too long.

While in her early days in the industry, Hudson was offered a role on a show, but the producers and directors wanted her to get emancipated and work as an adult. The Blast reported that this did not sit right with her mother, Goldie Hawn, who strongly kicked against the terms.

Her decision later paid off, and she landed a role in the teen drama series "Party of Five," which only required her to miss two days of school to be on set.
