Safaree Samuels Parties It Up In Jamaica While Newborn Son Is In NICU

Erica Mena recently shared with followers that her newborn son is in the NICU and has been since his birth. The 10-day-old baby, named Legend Brian Samuels, was born in late June according to a now-deleted post by Mena’s husband Safaree Samuels. Mena’s post showed her cradling their son and featured an extensive caption about her current emotions. The mom of three shared with fans that she sometimes feels “lost” and “hopeless” as she watches her son battle. The post became cryptic as she began talking about “seeing posts” and “getting messages.”

The reality star could be referring to the fact that her husband is in Jamaica currently instead of by her side in the NICU. Samuels is celebrating his birthday in his home country and clearly, he feels no way about it because he is regularly updating his followers with videos and pictures of all the fun he is having. This drama comes of course after the couple decided they were going to divorce… again. The Love and Hip Hop star’s marriage has been more than rocky since they tied the knot and while they have had great moments like the birth of their daughter Safire Majesty Samuels and their televised wedding.

Unfortunately, it seems like the foundation is cracking, rapidly after only a few short years of marriage. The marriage drama is currently unraveling on the latest season of the popular VH1 show with Mena asking Samuels if he is serious about their marriage and questioning what he thought he was getting into when he married her. The 33-year-old seems to be deep in introspection as her soon-to-be ex-husband has a great time in the hot country. “This journey I’m on, feels long. It has been tough. I’m taking steps forward, and I’m taking some back. I have good days, and I’m preparing for the bad ones.”

Those “bad days” Mena is referring to could be the anticipation of her divorce. The couple has each filed for divorce in the past and even tried separation, but fans assumed it was all for comments and likes because they still share their home together. However, this could be the real deal. Mena limited the comments to close friends and family, and they of course lifted her up. Reggae singer and co-star Spice said, “God got you” with the prayer had emoji attached. Others stepped in to wish her the best and offer her prayers, Samuels was not one of them.

As for the comments he is receiving, well fans are not too happy with the hopeful rapper’s behavior. “We see why Nicki left and never went back. Grow up,” wrote one follower referring to Samuels's long-dead relationship with rapper Nicki Minaj. “Go be a dad. You cried for years about wanting a wife and family, chased that girl for years.. now look at you.” Others noted that he should be at the NICU and if not there, at least in the United States. Clearly unbothered, the father of two continues to post about his good time and is yet to clap back at his haters.
