The former late-night talk show host is O-V-E-R crushing on the once sought after Cuomo brother.
If we rewind to October 2020, mid-pandemic, it seemed everyone one and their mother (that wasn’t on the far right) had the hots for Cuomo.
The comedian detailed her crush on the governor in her 2020 standup special, “Evolution.”

Chelsea also publicly spoke about her Cuomo crush on “The View” in October saying, “First of all, he’s like a big giant. He came in like the Incredible Hulk. We needed somebody to come on the scene, we were so dehydrated for real leadership that when he came on the scene looking like this big Italian hunk, he was like ‘wear a mask.’ I was like ‘I’ll wear a mask, I’ll put a mask on every part of my body. I wanna flatten your curve and you can flatten my curve and then we can both apex together.”
The TV personality also revealed to the ladies of “The View” she asked Cuomo out on a date prior to her appearance on the show.
Chelsea revealed he did say ‘yes,’ and then she never heard from him.
Gov. Cuomo did appear on “The View” just a day later and was grilled about Chelsea’s crush and the reason for not responding to her date night offer.
“I’m a big fan of Chelsea and she is great. We have fun,” he said.
As for why he ghosted the TV host, well… location, location, location.
“On my dating life, you know, I am only dating, at this point, in-state residents,” Cuomo said in jest. “I’m dating New York residents. So if Chelsea changes her residence, then maybe we can work it out,” the NY governor said.
So long, farewell!
Months passed by, a new year rolled in and so did damaging allegations against the once sought after governor.
Multiple women came forward and accused the politician of sexual harassment and misconduct.
Upon learning this information, Chelsea had a major change of heart.
In a July 8 appearance on the New York Times “Sway” podcast, she said, “I found out all the stuff we found out about him … and I thought, well, I guess, this is a guy that doesn’t like it offered up. So my crush with him is, yes, O-V-E-R.”
While chatting with “Sway” host Kara Swisher, Chelsea admitted she offered herself up to Cuomo and during the pandemic she was, “very turned on by his morning news conferences, as many of us were.”
Chelsea’s tides have now turned in a different direction.
Governor Cuomo has denied all allegations against him
