Jennifer Lopez's Sizzling Mirror Selfie Goes Viral For The Wrong Reason, As Fans Spot Weird Detail

Jennifer Lopez broke the Internet with her sizzling Christmas selfie, but left fans talking about what appeared to be a filter that made her iPhone look curvy.

The "Jenny From The Block" singer also shared a photo of her in matching pajamas with her family on Christmas Eve.

Jennifer Lopez recently made headlines when she reunited for a holiday shopping spree with her ex-husband Ben Affleck and his son, Samuel.

Lopez took to social media to share a sizzling Christmas snap in which she wore a tight-fitting red dress held up by two straps.

The dress was adorned with crystals and featured a sweetheart neckline that lay bare her upper bust.

She styled her hair in a bun and left two loose strands to hang down her face, and wore minimal jewelry, including earrings and a ring on her index finger.

"Merry Christmas, one and all!" Lopez captioned the photo on X.

While she looked stunning in the photo, the snap quickly went viral because of how strange her iPhone looked in the mirror selfie.

Within minutes of the picture hitting X, Fans took to the comments to compliment the multi-hyphenate singer and wish her a Merry Christmas.

"You truly get more and more stunning!" a fan wrote, while another said, "YOU LOOK AMAZING JENN."

"Just Jenny from the block. Merry Christmas. You rock!" someone else said.

However, eagle-eyed fans spotted the weird curve of her phone, which left many thinking the photo was heavily edited.

"Which iPhone model is this? Look @ the banana curve," an X user wrote sarcastically, while another noted, "Is that an iPhone 17 curve? Lol, why is it curving?"

One critic said, "The way your phone bends gives away obvious airbrushing, FaceTune, Photoshop, etc. This could be intentional engagement bait, or maybe Jenny from the block is approaching the event horizon of a supermassive black hole at non-relativistic speed."

"Easy on the filters and editing, the iPhone literally got curved like a banana," another user said.

A fan cautioned the singer, saying, "I love you, girl. But you've got to double check for unintended distortion in any photo you edit—before posting."

On Christmas Eve, Lopez took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself in matching pajamas with her family members, including her sister Lynda and son Emme, whom she shares with Marc Anthony.

In one picture, she posed near her enormous Christmas tree, sitting on the floor. Another photo showed everyone gathering around the dinner table to enjoy family time together.

"Twas the night…," the singer's caption read. Lopez is known for celebrating Christmas with her large family and kept to the tradition last year when she shared a video of her family members decorating the Christmas tree.

"Merry Christmas Eve," she wrote at the time, flashing a wide grin.

It comes just days after Lopez joined her ex-husband Ben Affleck for a Christmas shopping spree alongside his son Samuel.

According to the Daily Mail, the trio stopped by clothing brands Sezane and Doen before they headed down to the farmers' market, where they grabbed something to eat.

Although it was seemingly unplanned, they managed to coordinate in their outfits as Lopez wore a brown shade polkadot A-line dress with a halter neckline, and paired it with a knitted white sweater she wore over her shoulders.

She also wore dark brown lipstick and completed the look with chocolate brown cowboy boots and a small leather purse.

On the other hand, Affleck kept it casual in brown trousers paired with a taupe, linen button-down and matching blazer jacket. His teenage son wore a simple grey T-shirt with cream colored sweatpants and white sneakers.

Rumors recently started making the rounds that Affleck and Lopez may be working on getting back together, especially after they attended the New York premiere of "Kiss of the Spider Woman" in October.

However, a source has shut down the claims, while emphasizing that they are in a "good place."

"There's no romantic reunion with Ben," the source told People Magazine. "They're in a really good place. They continue to support each other. They're both proud of what they accomplished together."

They went further to note that the singer is "doing well" and focusing "on things that make her happy - family and work."

"She always enjoyed working with Ben; this hasn't changed," the source added.
