Chrissy Teigen Gets Her Smile Back For Christmas After Candy Cane Tooth Mishap

Chrissy Teigen wanted a new tooth for Christmas, and she got it!

The model suffered a dental mishap while getting in the spirit of the festive season, but she promptly maneuvered that curve and made it back in time for the celebrations.

Chrissy Teigen has previously shared her plans for Christmas, which include going to New York with her husband and kids to indulge in the goodness of the celebration.

The socialite gave her fans a quick update about the progress she has made with her chipped tooth. Teigen basically got herself a fresh pair of pearly whites to replace what came off when she unwrapped a candy cane with her mouth.

In the post made on Christmas Eve, December 24, on her Instagram story, she uploaded a picture of her mouth open wide with her seemingly chipped tooth back in a pristine state.

Teigen then took her restored tooth alongside her family to Madison Square Garden for a Christmas Day game between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to The Daily Mail, the model kept things sharp in a high-cut outfit and adorned herself in a white coat with edgy feather trims. She joined other Hollywood famous faces like Russel Wilson and Ciara for the game.

Teigen’s presence at the game seemingly marked her gradual integration back into the who's who circle in Hollywood, after a tumultuous 2021. Recall that the model was accused of telling Courtney Stodden, who was a teenager back then, to k-ll herself over a private message.

Following the revelation, Teigen’s status in Hollywood became endangered, and she even described herself as a member of the “cancel club.” She has since tried to come back into the public good books by appearing on Meghan Markle’s Netflix show “With Love, Meghan.”

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly suffered backlash for entertaining the model of her show, but Stodden eventually intervened and warned against bullying Teigen, noting that two wrongs don’t make a right.

She then revealed that when the outrage against her appearance on Megan’s show began, she actually sent Teigen a supportive message, but the star ignored her.

Earlier in the month, the mother of four had shared that her 2-year-old daughter, Esti, had made a trip to the hospital following a home accident. As reported by The Blast, she shared a picture of her daughter getting stitched up on the chin and added a relatable caption, which read:

“Hesitant to share this because he will get too busy to give my kids their daily stitches, but @drourian, thank you so much for always saving us. The traumas for a kid and a parent both! We love you so much.”

Two years ago, the model got candid about the struggles of raising four kids and the emotional weight that often comes with it. She confessed that the most challenging part is making sure the older kids feel loved and taken care of when all the attention seems to be on the younger ones.

She added that parents of multiple kids should understand her struggles as she added, “There’s a lot of diaper changing and feeding, and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies, and they’re not getting enough."

Based on her latest sighting, the model fulfilled her promise to spend Christmas in the Big Apple, two years after they had a good time as a family in the city that never sleeps.

In November, the Hollywood star confessed to PEOPLE that NYC became their most preferred location due to the range of things to do for their kids across age gaps.

Teigen also dived into her family’s tradition for Thanksgiving and how her husband, John Legend’s family plays active roles with the turkey and feeding. However, the model revealed that she was not a fan of turkey, so they would combine two chickens together to equal a whole turkey.

“So we'll usually do four chickens, two chickens nestled together in a little bin. But then John also just bought a smoker, so I feel like this year, he is going to take over the turkey duties,” the socialite noted.

While she shared that she will be making her mom’s scalloped potatoes for the day, she noted that her husband enjoyed making his mac and cheese and emphasized that they were the family’s staples every year.

The superstar basically had an eventful end of the year with internet clapbacks. In September, The Blast shared that she sparked reactions online when she appeared on “Dinner Time Live,” bearing confessions about her diet preference at a very odd hour.

She revealed that she often wakes up very hungry at 1 a.m. every night and proceeds to order food, or wait for it, John plays the in-house chef. Teigen explained that her nightly routine begins with taking her medications by 10 p.m. and then having food by 2:15 before going back to bed.

When the lot falls on her husband to make the food, she stresses that he gladly goes downstairs to make a sandwich and literally comes back to bed once he is done. Of course, Teigen’s revelation left a few internet users upset, and they tagged her an “awful” person who is not considerate of her husband’s feelings.
