Florence Pugh Undies-Free In Open Braless Dress Told It's 'Not Clothing'

Florence Pugh received mixed reviews for her exposing gray dress two years ago. Slipping her curves into an ultra-revealing, open gown with a vast, cut-out panel at the side, the actress posed in profile for Vogue, and chances are, she wouldn't have fallen right out of her gown if she had been walking. Florence, 29, stunned the camera for her shoot with the iconic magazine in 2023, quickly going viral after Vogue shared the image on Instagram. The Oppenheimer star, who wore zero underwear while flashing her legs and parts of her backside, had some fans celebrating her fashion choice, but others raised eyebrows. One even wondered if the dress could count as "clothing."

Going sleeveless while highlighting her shapely arms, the Hollywood star flaunted her hourglass waistline and hips, also flashing a fair amount of cheek as she went undies-free.

Going partly backless as her side cut-out accentuated her figure, Florence added pops of cream from neck strapping forming a slight halterneck. The Valentino ambassador also donned diamond drop earrings, drawing the eye to her face, where a complete layer of glowy makeup with highlighter enhanced her features.

Proving her loyalty to the Valentino brand she fronts, Florence donned a gown from the classic Italian designer. Meanwhile, her jewels came courtesy of high-end brand Tiffany & Co. The image was reposted on X just a few days ago, and it was here that a fan, who admitted they weren't "complaining," asked "at what point" it's "just not clothing anymore."

Florence Pugh is known for switching up her looks, but her 2022 Valentino Haute Couture Show may just be her most iconic to date.

Three years ago, the British sensation showed off her bare chest in a tulle gown while at Paris Fashion Week, flaunting her cleavage while braless as she rocked a hot pink dress with near-matching platform heels. Noting the number of hateful remarks she received after wearing the dress, Florence wrote: "It isn't the first time and certainly won't be the last time a woman will hear what's wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what's worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be."

Continuing, Florence Pugh added, "Thankfully, I've come to terms with the intricacies of my body that make me, me. I'm happy with all of the 'flaws' that I couldn't bear to look at when I was 14."
