Scott Shriner's Estranged Wife Demanded Spousal Support

Lauren's demands included joint legal and physical custody of their two sons and the termination of Shriner's rights to spousal support. Instead, she asked the court to award her spousal support and hold her estranged husband responsible for her legal fees.

The author also asked for her last name to be legally restored to “Lauren” instead of “Lauren-Shriner.” The divorce filing comes months after her run-in with authorities in April, following a bizarre standoff in her Eagle Rock neighborhood during a search for a hit-and-run suspect.

The Blast covered the story, reporting that Lauren had appeared in her backyard with a gun when cops surrounded the area in search of the suspect. They repeatedly asked her to drop the weapon, but she refused and allegedly fired a shot at an officer.

Lauren's action forced officers to fire back, hitting her in the shoulder, and leading to her arrest on an attempted murder charge. Days after regaining her freedom, she was spotted for the first time with Shriner, looking visibly frail and leaning on her then-husband for support.
