Former Astronomer HR chief, Kristin Cabot, has finally spoken out about her viral kisscam moment with her boss, Andy Byron, at a Coldplay concert.

She revealed in a recent interview that she and Byron were not in a sexual relationship; however, she admitted that they made "bad decisions" the night they were caught holding each other on a jumbotron.

Kristin Cabot has since filed for divorce from her husband, while Andy Byron seems to be patching things up with his wife, as they were recently spotted together.

Cabot has broken her silence months after her life turned upside down after being caught in a compromising position with her boss at the time.

Back in  July, the former HR chief and the now-ex Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron, became viral sensations after they were seen holding each other on a kisscam. While it seemed like a regular interaction between two couples, things turned weird when the pair swiftly ducked and tried to hide from the cameras.

This led to wild speculations about their relationship, before it was revealed that the pair were married to different people and also had a professional relationship.

Reacting to the shocking moment in a chat with the New York Times, Cabot emphasized that she and Byron had never been involved sexually, and hadn't even kissed each other until that night.

"I made a bad decision and had a couple of High Noons and danced and acted inappropriately with my boss," she stated, stressing that "it's not nothing."

Cabot then shared that she believes she took accountability for her actions by giving up her "career" after the incident.

"That's the price I chose to pay," she noted. "I want my kids to know that you can make mistakes, and you can really screw up, but you don't have to be threatened to be killed for them."

Speaking more about the situation, Cabot revealed that she and Byron, her then-boss at Astronomer, "clicked, stylistically" during her interview to become a part of the company in the summer of 2024.

After being hired to join the company in November that year, she and Byron began talking regularly, sometimes even three times a day.

According to Cabot, their bond grew stronger as they were both "going through" separations, and eventually she caught "big feelings" for Byron and began fantasizing about having a proper relationship with him, but knew she couldn't "get too carried away" due to their professional situation.

When she decided to invite Byron to the Coldplay concert in July, she had already had a "full crush" on the CEO, but she noted that the outing was casual as they were with friends at the event.

Cabot told NYT that she and Byron had a couple of tequilas and began to look like a couple as they danced, with her wrapping his arms around her. This was the moment the cameras at the concert panned to her and her then-boss in a compromising state.

Regarding that viral moment, Cabot said, "I was so embarrassed and so horrified," adding, "I'm the head of HR, and he's the CEO. It's, like, so cliché and so bad."

Cabot noted that right after she and Byron were caught on camera being inappropriate with each other, they swiftly drafted an email to the Astronomer Board of Directors. However, before they could hit "send," the footage had already gone viral.

The board then launched an investigation into the incident, which subsequently led to Byron and Cabot being placed on leave before they eventually resigned from the company.

Cabot claims that despite her resignation, the board actually asked her to come back to the company, to continue her role as HR chief.

As for her family and friends, at least the ones who still supported her amid the public backlash, Cabot claims they were worried, with her children left "afraid that [she] was going to die and they were going to die."

In September, it was confirmed that Cabot had filed for divorce from her husband, Andrew Cabot.

According to Legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail, she filed the petition at a court in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 13, less than a month after her embarrassing moment with Byron went viral.

At the time, Andrew's own former wife, Julia, commented on the development,  telling the news outlet that she sent him a message after Cabot was caught on camera with her boss.

"I texted Andrew right after it happened, and he said: 'Her life has nothing to do with me,' and said they were separating," Julia stated.

This meant that Cabot's marriage had already hit the rocks long before her incident with Byron at the Coldplay concert.

"He's saying it has nothing to do with him, even though they were married and shared a house. But then, the only thing he cares about is money," Julia noted.

As for Byron and his wife, Megan Kerrigan, the pair seems to be together still after they were spotted strolling through Maine, while wearing their wedding bands.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple also enjoyed a picnic at the beach. They were seen seated on deck chairs, while taking in the sea breeze and snacking on some treats.

The tech CEO recently sold his 2,800-square-foot, full-floor home in Manhattan for $5.8 million to Charlotte Tenorio and Patrick Smith, according to the deed obtained by Crain's New York.

The pair reportedly financed the deal through a multi-million dollar mortgage from their bank.
