Reiner and his wife were discovered fatally stabbed inside their Brentwood, Los Angeles, home on Chadbourne Avenue on Sunday.

Insiders later shared with People Magazine that Reiner's daughter, Romy, was the one who found her parents' bodies.

"I'm Jewish, but I believe in the teachings of Jesus, and I believe in 'do unto others,' and I believe in forgiveness, and what she said to me was beautiful," Reiner stated. "She forgave his assassin. And I think that is admirable."
