It wouldn't be a Danity Kane reunion without a dose of drama. Earlier this month, a fraction of the girl group, known for hits like "Damaged" and "Show Stopper," reunited for a limited tour, sparking a frenzy among social media users and the group's die-hard fans. However, the nostalgic affair was quickly overshadowed by one of the band's former members, who claimed she was never given the chance to participate in the reunion.

Danity Kane was originally assembled during Sean 'Diddy' Combs' MTV reality series, "Making the Band."
In the early aughts, the girl group comprised five members: Shannon Bex, Aubrey O'Day, Aundrea Fimbres, D-Woods, and Dawn Richard.
However, only O'Day, Fimbres, and D-Woods are part of the ongoing reunion tour.
On X, Richard addressed the swirling fan speculation with a heartbreaking post.
"Even without being told about the reunion, I will always be a yes to Danity Kane," she wrote. "That chapter lives in me forever."

Richard's post featured a video of herself performing a Danity Kane song with backup dancers and singers, dressed in all red and nailing electric choreography.
"I always choose to perform these records out of love for the music, the memories, and the legacy we built together. So here is a little something for the DK fans. I love you always," she concluded the caption.
Danity Kane's ongoing tour is titled "The Untold Chapter." According to Us Weekly, the trio kicked off the trek on December 9 at August Hall in San Francisco, California.
The Danity Kane Reunion Comes After Netflix Documentary About Diddy Was Released

The Danity Kane reunion tour kicked off just days after O'Day was featured in a Netflix documentary about her former boss, titled "Sean Combs: The Reckoning."
The docuseries, executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, gave viewers an inside look at Diddy's life from childhood through adulthood and up until his legal woes, which landed him a 50-month prison sentence on prostitution charges in October 2025.
Also in the four-episode production, O'Day opened up about her alleged experiences with Diddy, claiming the father of seven once sent her sexually explicit messages.
"I don't wanna just f-ck you. I can see you being with some motherf-cker that you tell what to do. I make my woman do what I tell her to do, and she loves it," one message O'Day read aloud stated.
She later made a frightening allegation, stating a woman once told her she found O'Day being allegedly assaulted by the rapper and another man while she was extremely drunk.
"Does this mean I was raped? Is that what this means? I don't even know if I was raped," she said. "And I don't want to know."

The docuseries quickly became one of Netflix's most-streamed productions during the first week of December, and the intense fallout left O'Day ill during the ongoing Danity Kane tour.
According to The Blast, O'Day was hospitalized after experiencing terrifying symptoms, including "vertigo, fever, dizziness, migraine, chills, and vomiting all night."
O'Day shared that the "Reckoning" docuseries directly impacted her. "Watching everything from Netflix unfold publicly, seeing parts of a world I only knew from inside my own limited lens, was like living it again, but this time with context and truth outside of me," she said.
She continued, "I didn't think it would traumatize me the way it did, but watching the pieces line up from a distance outside of myself has felt like my nervous system was reliving everything with more clarity than I ever even asked for."
Diddy's Team Responds To Shocking Netflix Documentary

It didn't take long for a representative from Diddy's team to fire back at the Netflix docuseries, calling it a "shameful hit piece." Diddy's rep dismissed the claims further, saying some of the people involved have "personal grievances" against the rapper.
"Several of these stories have already been addressed in court filings, and others were never raised in any legal forum because they're simply not true. The project was built around a one-sided narrative led by a publicly admitted adversary, and it repeats allegations without context, evidence, or verification," the statement read.
