Erika Kirk has a word of advice for American parents amid rising political violence in the country.
The mother of two urged them to "look into the mirror," which she said to prompt parents to question themselves about how they are raising their children.
Erika Kirk also called for parents to step up to their responsibilities, referencing their attitude toward controlling how much time their children are spending on devices that have internet access.
Erika Kirk Says She Is A 'Victim' Of Political Violence, Tells Parents To 'Look In The Mirror'

In a town hall set to air on Saturday, December 13, Erika Kirk spoke candidly about the rising political violence in the country, per People Magazine.
According to the mother of two, she will never "agree with political violence," especially as her family has been heavily impacted by it in recent times. The mother of two lost her husband in September after he was shot at an event for his nonprofit, Turning Point USA.
"I will never agree with political violence. My husband is a victim of it. I'm a victim of it," the nonprofit executive told her host, CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss.
Speaking further, Erika noted that many might be quick to blame everyone else for the trend, but they should instead practice some self-introspection, especially if they are parents.
"We have to look in the mirror. When you become a father, when you become a mother, how are you raising your kids?" Erika questioned.
The TPUSA CEO Asks Parents If They Want Their Kids To Become 'Thought Leaders' Or 'Assassins'

Part of what Erika believes parents should do to prevent their children from being radicalized is to reflect on the impact that excessive time on electronic devices may be having on them.
"Are you taking responsibility, or are you giving them a device and saying, 'Go down that rabbit hole. I'm tryin' to go to Pilates class," Erika said during the town hall. "You can just sit in the corner and look at your iPad or look at your phone and go down that rabbit hole and see what you can learn from that, instead of being a parent."
The entrepreneur then posed a question to parents about how their children's future could play out in these times, depending on whether they choose to step up or remain complacent.
"Do you want your kid to be a thought leader or an assassin?" she added, "That's where we're at."
Erika went on to tell her host that she was already doing her "part" to help "turn the temperature down" when it comes to political violence in the country.
Erika Kirk Vows To Continue Her Husband's Mission

In the wake of her husband's death, Erika has stepped into Charlie's shoes as the CEO of TPUSA.
It comes as no surprise, as she had previously stated during one of her first media appearances after the assassination, that she was determined to continue Charlie's mission.
"The evil doers responsible for my husband's assassination have no idea what they have done," Erika said at the time, per People Magazine. "If you thought that my husband's mission was powerful before, you have no idea ... you have no idea what you have just unleashed."
She continued, "You have no idea the fire you ignited within this wife."
The TPUSA CEO Says Her Anger Is 'Righteous'

Erika recently went after MAGA influencers who have seemingly spread rumors and conspiracy theories about her husband's death.
During her chat with Fox News' Harris Faulkner, she condemned the actions, stating she was initially hopeful that people would approach the news of Charlie's death with more respect and truthfulness.
The mother of two then stressed that her loved ones and TPUSA staff members were off-limits from the attacks and speculations.
"Come after me, call me names, I don't care. Call me what you want, go down that rabbit hole, whatever," Erika said. "When you go after the people that I love, and you're making hundreds of thousands of dollars every single episode, going after the people that I love, because somehow they're in on this? No."
Erika's fury was noted by Faulkner, who stated that she had never seen the former Miss Arizona winner react in such a way before, prompting Erika to label her anger as "righteous."
"This is righteous anger because this is not okay, it's not healthy. This is a mind virus," she added.
Erika Was Slammed As A Grifter By Netizens Over Fundraiser Donations

In the past few months, Erika has received significant donations from Charlie's supporters, with contributions estimated to have reached into the millions.
Most recently, she hosted a fundraiser for the nonprofit, where a plate was reportedly sold for $10,000. Nearly a thousand individuals are said to have attended the event, which was held at Mar-a-Lago.
These developments have sparked backlash from some netizens, who believe the mother of two is using her loss as a form of grifting rather than focusing on raising her children.
However, Erika has consistently stated that she has no intention of hiding away to satisfy people who want her to stay silent amid her grieving process, noting that everything she is doing is in "honor" of her husband.
"It's an absolute honor," Erika told Faulkner. "And I will never back down."
