Tate McRae has officially sent pop fans into a meltdown with her 'Rolling Stone' cover.
The "Greedy" singer had just finished an international tour, faced intense backlash for her collaboration with Morgan Wallen, and now she's sparking a full-blown internet meltdown with her January 2026 "Rolling Stone" photoshoot.

In the joint Instagram post with "Rolling Stone," Tate McRae posed in a teeny white bikini trimmed with red strings.
The design also featured red hearts in the triangle cups of the top and the center of the bottom. McRae swung her hip to the side to accentuate her curves, then crossed her arms over her head as hair spilled everywhere.
The aesthetic delivered a nostalgic, retro feel from the '90s to the 2000s. Some fans even compared it to "Britney Spears' 1999 Rolling Stone cover."
Fans Are Losing It

In less than 24 hours, the post amassed over half a million likes and thousands of comments. Kylie Jenner dropped fire emojis, and fans were equally unhinged.
"Buying immediately and hanging in my room," one commented. A second user rambled, "The absolute love of my life, she's perfect, she's gorgeous, she's so hot, so smart, so witty." Another added, "I love that singers are being sexy again without making it a weird thing!"
It wasn't all praise, though. One user commented, "She acting like this playboy. It's crazy how nudity is the new norm to get streams and views." But a fan quickly clapped back with the response, "Where is the nudity when it's a bikini? So when I go to the beach in a bikini, I'm naked? Hello?"
Another critic accused her of objectifying herself, adding that "she is really good already." The trolling, however, was minimal. Fans' admiration far outweighed the disapproving remarks.

In a follow-up post, Tate McRae shared additional looks from the "Rolling Stone" photoshoot. In just 16 hours, it pulled over 700,000 likes and 2,000+ comments.
The first slide showed McRae in low-rise denim paired with a red bustier top and matching red slingbacks. She posed seductively with one hand gripping a red dance pole, the other grabbing her raised leg.

The second frame kept the dance-pole theme going. Tata McRae squatted with the pole between her thighs, wearing ruffled shorts, a white top, and Louis Vuitton pointed-toe heels. The final slide showed her back in the denim and red top ensemble.
As a fan put it, the vibe "screams 2000s," and her followers were down for it. Many were left "speechless," and even more "obsessed" than they already were with the pop star.
