The Game is changing his stance on his vulgar claims about Kim Kardashian.
In a new interview with Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe, the rapper addressed the explicit statements he made about the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star years prior.
During the conversation, The Game, 46, even apologized to Kim Kardashian, her ex-husband, and the rest of her family for what he did.
The Game Walks Back Claims About Sleeping With Kim Kardashian During Interview With Shannon Sharpe
On Sharpe's hit podcast, "Club Shay Shay," the athlete, who's been embroiled in scandals throughout his career, grilled the rapper about his past comments about Kim. According to The Game, he spoke about his alleged sexual encounters with the SKIMS founder to cause a bit of drama.
"Sometimes, man, you wake up and choose a little violence," he said. "If I tried to make up an excuse for my behavior, there just is no excuse. It’s the wrong thing to do on the right day."
As he went on, The Game even revealed that Kim's ex-husband, Kanye West, actually called him to ask him to stop speaking publicly about his then-wife. "He was like, ‘I love you, but can we not ever talk about my wife again?'" The Game shared. "And I said, ‘You know what? Even though I’m bigger and stronger, you got that right.’ I told him I wasn’t going to do that no more."
The Game Finally Apologizes To Kim Kardashian For Making Graphic Claims About Her In His Music
Later, Sharpe asked the performer whether he'd ever apologized to Kim directly for how his words may have impacted her. While he admitted he never offered an apology and didn't believe he needed to, he changed his mind shortly after.
The Game shared that he has a great deal of love and respect for Kim's family, including her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters, Kourtney and Khloé. "We were always chilling. But yeah, I’ll apologize to Kim today," The Game said.
He didn't stop there. The Game told the camera, "Kim, I’m apologetic for the way that I displayed or discussed our interrelations with the public."

For those unfamiliar, The Game made bold claims about Kim in an unreleased song, according to a report from Complex.
In the track, the rapper rapped that he "held Kim Kardashian by her throat" and later claimed to have made her "swallow my kids until she choke."
Elsewhere in the song, The Game says, "I should apologize cause 'Ye is my folks."
This wouldn't be the first time The Game has had something to say about the A-list star. While speaking with Wendy Williams in 2016, The Game hinted at something happening between the two, but attempted to keep his answer PG.
"I'll tell you this, Kanye is a really good friend of mine and he's got really beautiful kids and I don't want to disrespect their family," he said.
Other Stars Are Addressing Kim In December 2025

The Game isn't the only celebrity calling out Kim on popular platforms this week. According to an earlier report from The Blast, Howard Stern had choice words for the mother of four after watching a clip from her reality show, "The Kardashians," in which she claimed the shock-jock radio host made offensive comments about her 2016 robbery in Paris, France.
Stern wasted no time firing back at Kim, clarifying that he actually said, "If this woman was robbed at gunpoint by a bunch of dudes and they threw her in a bathtub and tied her up -- or whatever they did -- I mean, that is frightening."
"And we said, 'We don't think it's fake. We think that she went through something horrible. Some guys came into her room and threw her in a bathtub and pointed a gun at her,'" he added.
Kim Believed She Would Die During Paris Robbery

While Kim was visiting Paris for Fashion Week in 2016, a group of men broke into her luxury hotel suite, tied her up with zip ties, and stole numerous luxury goods, including expensive jewelry.
Kim told police that they grabbed her and took her into the hallway while she was wearing only a bathrobe. On an episode of her family's former reality show, "KUWTK," Kim got even more candid about the situation, revealing she believed she was going to die after seeing one of the men with a gun.
"I was like, 'I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision,'" she said. "Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? It makes me so upset to think about it. Either they're going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don't, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I'm f-cked. There's no way out."
In the summer of 2025, eight of the 10 men tried in connection with the case were found guilty.
