The state of Kanye 'Ye' West's finances continues to raise eyebrows following his latest use of unconventional loans.
The Hip-Hop star is arguably a shadow of his past self after repeatedly losing the public's love and support for his social media outbursts and antisemitic rants.
After multiple brands ended their collaborations with him to avoid getting involved in the backlash, Kanye 'Ye' West has seemingly struggled to maintain the prestige he once flaunted. Now, he is relying on a little-known investment company using his Yeezy brand.
Kanye 'Ye' West Scores Multi-Million-Dollar Mortgage Deal

According to new reports, Ye just took out a multi-million-dollar mortgage deal on the headquarters of his clothing brand, Yeezy. He brokered a deal with Rediger Investment Mortgage Fund to secure a $3.465 million loan from the unconventional lender.
Rediger, a subsidiary of Rediger Investment Corporation, is an unconventional lender unlike banks. The Daily Mail speculated that Ye probably collaborated with the "real estate investment and management services" company after other financial institutions likely refused to work with him.
The Yeezy HQ located on Melrose Avenue was a shadow of its former glory after it was abandoned at the end of 2023, just months after Ye reportedly purchased the property for $6.3 million in March 2023.
The building was a few doors down from sportswear giant Adidas and was once used to host fashion shows and private events.

During the good days, Ye and Adidas collaborated to release unique streetwear until the rapper's antisemitic rants ended their multi-million-dollar deal in 2022. The Yeezy HQ has since been boarded up and stripped of its interior, with homeless tents strung up outside.
The graphic state of the property continued with graffiti adorning its walls, including the outline of a massive swastika sign on the side of the building. The hate symbol first appeared in March, with authorities reportedly called to the scene after it popped up.
It was covered up with grey paint, but the faded outline of the Nazi sign could still be seen on the walls. The Yeezy HQ isn't the only abandoned property in Ye's real estate portfolio, as the former church he bought for $1.5 million in January 2023 in Los Angeles's San Fernando Valley was destroyed in an October 2024 fire.
Ye Is No Stranger To Unconventional Loans Following His Downfall

Following the fire, the ruined foundation of the former church remains standing, completely abandoned by Ye. He initially purchased the property with the intention of turning it into a clothing factory for his Yeezy brand; however, he never made any plans before the fire occurred.
After the incident, Ye turned to unconventional lenders to obtain $15.5 15.5million, which he added to his pension funds to purchase his $35 million Beverly Hills mansion in November 2024. One of the lenders was RGGL LLC, owned by New Mexico-based fitness entrepreneur Richard Glassman.
Ye's clothing brand last made waves in February 2025 after the Yeezy website was shut down for selling Nazi shirts. The Blast covered the story, reporting that Shopify, the platform hosting Yeezy.com, took it down for violating its policies with the swastika logo clothing.
Former Employees Slam The GOOD Music Founder And His Wife

The same month Yeezy made waves for selling swastika logo t-shirts, The Blast shared that the clothing brand's former employees came out to slam Ye and his wife, Bianca Censori, for their horrible behavior.
A former senior designer at the fashion brand alleged that Censori "turned into a demon" after tying the knot to Ye in December 2022. They claimed her attitude changed to problematic and authoritative just weeks after walking down the aisle.
The source claimed she tried to cut the seamstresses' lunch breaks, stole their vape, and would do bizarre things like coming into their trailer to ask about their thoughts on Jews.
Pierre-Louis Auvray, a former senior designer at Yeezy, seemingly accused Ye of making antisemitic remarks while working with Yeezy staffers.
Kanye 'Ye' West Takes Accountability For His Antisemitic Past

Months after these former Yeezy employees trashed Ye and Censori, the couple reappeared in November to push for forgiveness. In a November 6 video shared by famous Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto on Instagram, Ye took accountability for his antisemitic rants.
An apologetic Ye held the Rabbi's hands as he explained what led to his controversial online outbursts. He noted that his posts and hateful comments stemmed from bipolar disorder, implying that he sometimes had no control over his volatile emotions until the damage was done.
Ye compared his situation to a child making a mess in the kitchen or a garage before the parent comes home to clean up the mess. "I really just appreciate you embracing me with open arms and allowing me to make amends," he told the Rabbi, with a translator passing on his words.
Could Kanye 'Ye' West's new mortgage deal be linked to a possible comeback?
