Timothée Chalamet 'Less Keen' To Be Kylie Jenner's 'Show Pony' After 'One-Sided' Red Carpet PDA, Experts Say

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner's cozy new outing may have silenced split rumors, but how is the romance between them behind the scenes?

The lovebirds attended the “Marty Supreme” LA premiere earlier, rocking bold, coordinated orange Chrome Hearts looks, and trying to prove their bond was very much alive. 

Their relationship, which reportedly began in 2023 and has largely remained private, has faced several claims of tension. However, their latest appearance seems to say a lot more, which a body language expert spills. 

Although Chalamet and “The Kardashian” star dazzled onlookers, body language specialist Judi James believes the chemistry may not be as balanced as it seemed.

According to James, Jenner appeared to orchestrate everything, from their coordinated outfits to the way they posed, while Chalamet was a reluctant participant.

“The romantic signals look one-sided here,” James told Daily Mail. “Kylie clearly looks happy to depict and define a smitten, romantic relationship, but Timothee's poses make him look less keen to be seen as any form of celebrity show-pony.”

The analyst noted the “Wonka” actor’s gestures came across as casual, while the Hulu star worked harder to portray the image of a couple deeply in love.

“His hands and his body poses suggest hesitancy here. His fingers lightly touch onto Kylie's torso while she looks happy to cling, and he puts far less effort into any active poses of intimacy,” James detailed.

She compared their smiles, concluding Chalamet's were more performative for the cameras, while Jenner's conveyed a "meaningful narrative-spinning 'look of love' created by her softened features and eye expression."

James added that the businesswoman was guiding her man’s movements, repositioning his hand on her hip as they switched poses. "She seems to be the one designing the poses and steering him into position while he just stands and grins amiably," James pointed out.

While James views the moment as more staged than sincere, fans see it differently. Many fans admitted the pair look stronger than ever and are even speculating about their future together, including the possibility of children.

As The Blast reported earlier, one admirer gushed over the photos, writing, "Babies!" while another chimed in, "I wonder how the baby's going to look."

A third fan declared the duo would "make beautiful babies," and a fourth echoed the sentiment, adding, "They go together."

Fans talk about Chalamet stepping into fatherhood matches with his own openness to the idea. Just last month, he said in an interview that having kids “could be on his radar.”

He recalled a moment of clarity after hearing a public figure brag about the freedom of not having children.

Rather than being swayed, Chalamet said he felt the opposite. The comment only strengthened his belief that he'd like to have kids someday.

Chalamet also reflected on the balance between career and family, and he referenced other directors he has worked with who managed to stay at the peak of their profession while raising families. With such examples, Chalamet believes he can do the same. 

Before Chalamet and Jenner made their recent reunion, rumors swirled of their split after Chalamet declined to address his relationship with the reality TV star.

In a previous interview, the Oscar nominee had simply said, "I don't say that with any fear. I just don't have anything to say," the actor said, per The Blast. However, the Khy founder was reportedly unhappy with his reply. 

"She feels she's chasing him while he's focused on work," said a source, pointing out the actor's busy filming schedule. Despite her frustration, insiders say she's putting on a brave face and trying to stay upbeat.

Fueling more speculation, The Blast reported that Chalamet was noticeably absent from Kris Jenner's birthday party last month at Jeff Bezos's lavish mansion. 

Though his absence raised questions, insiders insisted the duo remain together. "There is trouble in paradise, but they aren't completely over," one source revealed.

Another informant said Jenner feels she was investing more effort than he was. "He is filming quite a bit, and she feels that she has to chase him. She is putting in the work more than him," the individual disclosed. 

The same pattern appeared on the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s birthday in August, when Chalamet skipped her celebration. However, sources claimed he made sure she felt his love, calling her and showering her with gifts. Despite their busy schedules, reports claimed the pair were putting in the work to be together.
