The New TPUSA CEO Called Her Late Husband The 'Love Of Her Life'

The mother of two went on to cite other little things that she misses about Kirk, who died in September after being shot at an event for his nonprofit organization.

"It's the visual of, you know, [him] coming home, and to the world he was Charlie Kirk, but to us he was the love of my life and my children's dad," a teary-eyed Erika further remarked.

Still fighting back tears, Erika pointed out how Kirk would regularly create family time free from phone distractions, which made her always eager to make coming home special for him.

Erika's comments about missing her husband come after she seemed to criticize young female New Yorkers for voting for Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani during her appearance at The New York Times' DealBook Conference last week.

She called their voting trend "ironic" and noted how some of these women "almost look to the government as a form of replacement for certain things, relationship-wise."

According to Erika, following this path, especially if it leads to putting off having a family or a marriage, wasn't ideal.

Instead, she believes women should be more about "being united with a husband where you can support yourself and your husband can support, and you guys can all combine together."

Erika's comments didn't sit well with many, including popular podcaster Jennifer Welch.

She called for the mother of two to be "kicked to the curb" and also took aim at Erika's religion, integrity, and character.

"You are an opportunistic grifter who weaponizes your gender to demean women. You are a walking, talking, breathing example as to why nobody, number one, wants to be a Christian, and number two, wants to be a female hypocrite such as yourself," Welch ranted on a recent episode of her "I've Had It" podcast, per The Blast.

Erika's comment was also called out by several on social media, who branded the mother of two as "dishonest" due to her successful career.

Welch went on to say Erika was "divorced" from reality for trying to educate female New Yorkers.

"For you to prance into Manhattan and lecture women who are abundantly aware of the coattails of which we have ridden … to be able to be heard. You are so divorced from reality, and you need to go back to the Turning Point bubble," the podcaster remarked.

She then slammed Erika's late husband, calling him "unrepentant," "racist," and "homophobic."

Welch's remarks have since gone viral, eliciting mixed reactions from people online.
