Wendy Williams had a wild weekend celebrating her niece, Alex Finnie's birthday, after allegedly being denied access to go out with friends.

The former talk show host is embroiled in an ongoing battle to end her guardianship following claims of emotional abuse, isolation, and more against her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.

While the guardian claims Wendy Williams is unable to cater to her needs due to frontotemporal dementia (FTD), the entertainer has repeatedly shut down the claims. A top neurologist also backed up her stance, refuting the dementia diagnosis.

Williams' party weekend comes weeks after she made waves for not seeing her friends due to her guardian's whims. The Blast covered the story, reporting that sources claimed the former talk show host had been planning to celebrate her new medical evaluation.

As stated, a top neurologist disputed the dementia narrative, arguing that Williams did not exhibit signs of someone with the degenerative condition. In fact, she has displayed a remarkable recovery after obtaining sobriety and wanted to celebrate the results with friends.

However, sources noted that Williams was stopped from leaving her New York living facility on November 19 because her bodyguard and niece weren't available. Williams allegedly suspected that her guardian had gotten rid of the guard behind her back to isolate her from her friends.

Sources claimed Williams suspected Morrissey because the latter had previously dismissed her bodyguard without telling her. "They don't keep her in the loop. Morrissey doesn't want her to go out," sources alleged.

Despite the alleged interference, Williams' pals still managed to speak to her on the phone after meeting up without her. The group included comedian Luenell, Williams' former show producer Suzanne Bass, and Max Tucci.

Sources claimed that the group encouraged Williams to stay strong over the phone while ranting about their mutual hatred for "the Sabrina b-tch." The group allegedly believed Morrissey blocked their outing because she was "pissed off" by Williams' freedom.

Will Wendy Williams get to enjoy more unrestricted outings in the future?
