Sydney Sweeney In Sheer Braless Dress Claims She’s ‘Never Gotten Work Done’

Model Sydney Sweeney is doubling down on claims that she has never done any plastic surgery. The “Euphoria” star has had no problem showing off her assets in a sheer Christian Cowan x Elias Matso gown at the Variety Power of Women event last October, and according to a recent interview, she has never done any work done on her body.

On October 29, “The White Lotus” actress was honored at Variety’s Power of Women event, which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. While she was there, the designer confirmed on Instagram that she wore a Christian Cowan x Elias Matso crystal twisted waist gown from the Christian Cowan Spring Summer 2026 collection.

She left very little to the imagination, going braless underneath the thin fabric, which draped all the way down to her feet. She paired the look with her new blonde bob haircut and a bit of blush on her cheeks.

While promoting her new movie “The Housemaid” alongside costar Amanda Seyfried, the “Anyone But You” actress told Allure that she had a “beauty rumor” that she wanted to shut down. She insisted that she had never “gotten work done” on her body and hinted that it was due to a common fear of needles.

“Let’s debunk them all. I mean, I have never gotten work done,” Sweeney said in the video, adding, “I am so scared of needles. You have no idea.”

She went on to say that “Everybody on social media’s insane,” and called out critics who compare her body now to what she looked like as a teenager. “You cannot compare a photo of me from when I was 12 to a photo of me at 26 with professional makeup and lighting! Of course, I'm going to look different,” Sweeney said.

However, Seyfried seemed to remind her that plastic surgery is not necessarily a bad thing. She told her that some procedures can be “really effective once you get older.” She joked, “You gotta call me, and I'll give you a little bit of Ativan, and you'll be so excited,” adding, “But you don't need it yet.”

While speaking to Variety earlier this fall, she insisted that she had never had any work done due to her fear of needles and decided to avoid tattoos for that same reason.

“I’ve never gotten anything done. I’m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age gracefully,” she said, revealing that someone told her that she should get Botox when she was only sixteen years old due to her “very strong eyebrow muscles.”
