Ooops! Billy Ray Cyrus' name is the topic of another controversy.

Drama has a thing for the singer, as his ex-wife and singer, Firerose, hopped online with a bold claim of him being all shades of abusive in their very brief marriage.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose got married in October 2023, only to end seven months later in May 2024 after Cyrus filed for divorce on the basis of irreconcilable differences and fraud.

The singer showed up on TikTok with words on marble for anyone in their 20s finding love and lessons she gained from marrying her country singer ex.

"In your 20s, you'll meet a 49-year-old man who convinces you you're his soulmate. It is very important you don't believe him," she wrote over several old clips of herself and Cyrus while the going was good.

In the caption, Firerose continued with her lecture where she empathized with anyone who survived narcissistic abuse and encouraged them that they are not alone.

"It's chilling how similar survivors' experiences really are. Behind closed doors, it's always the same playbook. Control, isolation, rage, manipulation, walking on eggshells, cognitive dissonance, feeling like the only person in the world that can be experiencing what you are," she added.

Firerose encouraged anyone in this situation to know that God sees everything, and love can be much more beautiful than the current abuse the person is going through.

Right before the marriage crashed, the country music legend was caught hurling very hurtful words at his now ex-wife. As stated by The Blast, Cyrus was upset at the fact that he showed up late to a scheduled stage performance, and his ex-wife was somewhat connected to it.

In the video, Cyrus slammed Firerose for allegedly failing to listen and tagged it an act of selfishness from the singer's end. "I don't think you're real smart, I've changed my mind on that sh-t. What I think you are is a selfish f-cking b-tch. That's what you are," the singer claimed.

Firerose responded to the statement with pleas that Cyrus stop shouting but was ignored as the verbal assault continued for the next two minutes. He came for his estranged wife's intellect, tagging her a d-mb a-s who continued to test his boundaries despite knowing he would not tolerate such disrespect.

The former couple settled their divorce last year at a mediation, according to details from his lawyers, Rose Palermo and Jason Talley. As reported by The Blast, his attorneys shared that their client was beyond relieved to put the drama behind him.

The lawyers claimed that Firerose also changed her last name from Hodges to Cyrus, and it reflected Cyrus' initial claim that the singer merely married him for the fame.

Details of the divorce agreement showed that Cyrus did not have to pay alimony or spousal support. The singer also retained all the interest in his various production and publishing companies, including all titles, interests, and royalties owed for his musical works.

Firerose also got to keep her 2020 Mercedes-Benz and retained 100% ownership of all songs that were written and published by them during their marriage.

Cyrus retained ownership of his 2010 Nissan Titan, a 1993 Harley Davidson, a 1993 GMC Truck, a 2008 Freightliner Sprinter Van, and a 2024 Nissan Murano.

Billy Ray Cyrus Claimed Leaked Audio From Firerose Was An Attempt At Blackmail

Following the release of the audio's content online, Cyrus took to his Instagram Stories to state why he acted out, but did not apologize to the singer. He noted that he was at his wits' end, and he started uncovering his ex-wife's dubious ways as the days went by.

"That was before I knew she was David Hodges's ex-wife. That's before I knew her parents' last name. I had no idea she was arrested for felony residential burglary," he stressed.

Cyrus' attorneys once again came to their client's defense about the audio's release, tagging it as "an apparent last-ditch effort to squeeze money" out of the singer.

The singer's lawyers referred to a previous court filing by Cyrus, where he claimed to have been vocally frustrated and angry with Firerose during their 7 months of marriage. His lawyers added that the anger grew because "he began to uncover more and more of Ms. Hodges's true motives for marrying him."

Will Billy Ray Cyrus respond to Firerose's latest claims?
