Peloton superstar Cody Rigsby is back in London and back to stirring the pot (literally) as his fan-favorite series "Tea Time with Cody" returns for another cheeky, culture-soaked round. The first installment, filmed earlier this year, became an instant sensation thanks to Rigsby’s humor, curiosity, and unmistakable charm. Now, Peloton Members can expect even more laughs, more learning, and more delicious chaos as Cody teams up with British chef Rosemary Shrager, plus fellow instructors Leanne Hainsby and Jon Hosking, for a mini “bake off” showdown. In an exclusive conversation with The Blast, Cody Rigsby opened up about why he brought "Tea Time" back, the creative spark behind his Peloton content, his podcast obsessions, and the confidence lessons he's learned on and off the bike.

For Cody, returning to London wasn’t just a fun idea. It was unfinished business. “The people asked and I delivered,” he told The Blast. “'Tea Time' is basically me doing what I do best: connecting, exploring and having a little fun while I’m at it. The first round was such a blast, but I left London with unfinished business. So I had to go back, sip more tea and stir the pot a little more.”

This time around, Cody dives deeper into British cuisine with help from Rosemary Shrager, tasting dishes, stepping into the kitchen, and letting his British teammates judge his culinary efforts. It’s everything Cody is. Chaotic, comedic, and endlessly charming.

As one of Peloton’s most beloved instructors, Cody has perfected the art of blending sweat with storytelling. And "Tea Time" is simply an extension of his iconic formula.

“It’s all about giving people what they want and not taking anything too seriously,” he said. “Whether we’re on the Bike or talking about British snacks, I want folks to feel like they’re hanging out with a friend who hypes them up but also keeps them in check. If Members can laugh and push themselves all at once, that’s the magic.”

Beyond Peloton, Cody co-hosts the hit podcast "Tactful Pettiness with Andrew Chapelle," a show rooted in the kind of nostalgic pop culture that shaped so many Millennials. “I am a lover of all things that bring me nostalgia and so many of our episodes are dedicated to exactly that,” he said.

Whether debating “the hierarchy of Lunchables,” revisiting 90s cartoons, or unpacking Barbie vs. American Girl, Cody loves analyzing the past through today’s lens. His favorite topics? “Deciding if we'd swipe right on certain iconic cartoon characters… or debating the best romcom of all time.” And while the show has welcomed some great guests, Cody has one dream interview above the rest.

Rigsby Says He’d Drop Everything For One Interview

When asked who he still wants on Tactful Pettiness, Cody didn’t hesitate. “Our lord and savior: Britney Jean Spears. The icon and legend that she is. I mean, I literally dedicated my book to her,” he shared.

But despite the dream booking, he’s clear that her peace comes first. “Though I fully believe that because she’s given us so much and been through so much, she deserves her peace. However, if I ever had the chance to interview her, I wouldn't be able to turn it down. Britney, if you're reading this: I'm a safe space and would give you the floor to talk about anything and everything you'd like.”

Cody Rigsby Gets Candid About ‘DWTS’

Rigsby competed on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2021, earning a wave of new fans. Looking back, he calls the experience transformative but also exhausting.

“'DWTS' was like being thrown into the deep end of the most chaotic pool you can imagine,” he recalled. “I had to show up every day, push past the ‘I can’t do this’ moments, and let people see me be vulnerable. It taught me that discipline isn’t about perfection, it’s about showing up and remembering that you don’t need to be perfect all of the time.”

Would he ever return for an All-Star round? “Oh, babe, never again,” he said with a laugh. “I have nothing but love for 'DWTS,' but that's a physical and emotional journey that I don't need to take again.”

Cody has long been open about his journey with confidence and self-acceptance, and he hopes his fans know that perfection isn’t the goal. Presence is. “My whole journey with confidence and self-acceptance has not been linear by any stretch of the imagination,” he said. “We’re all a little messy, and at the end of the day we’re just doing our best.”

For him, the real transformation happens when you show up with grace for yourself. “I want my Boo Crew or anyone who follows me to know that you don’t have to have it all figured out. Show up for yourself, but give yourself grace, at the same time. If you can love yourself through the ups, the downs and the questionable life choices, you’re already doing the work. That’s the real glow-up.”
