Cameron Boyce may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
Tuesday, July 6, marked the two-year anniversary of the ‘Descendants’ star’s untimely and tragic passing.
Cameron passed away at 20-years-old on July 6, 2019, after suffering a seizure in his sleep.
At the time of his death, a spokesperson for the family shared, “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.”

Cameron’s father, Victor Boyce, took to social media today to thank Cam’s fans for all of their love and support over the last two years.
In an 8:15 long video, Victor starts off by saying, “So, let’s talk about it. So, I don’t like to call this day an anniversary. For me, an anniversary is something that’s good. Obviously today, something is really, really bad.”
Through tears he continued, “Every day without Cameron is not a good day for me. So, it doesn’t matter if it’s today or tomorrow, or yesterday or whatever. It’s always a bad day.”
Victor acknowledged that Covid-19 took the lives of many loved ones, and that he wasn’t feeling sorry for himself.
He noted that everybody goes through tragedy, everybody suffers and everybody loses a loved one at some point in their life.

“There’s nothing that can describe, nothing that can describe how I feel about losing my son, my child, my first-born son. My only son,” he admitted. “I just want to thank everybody, because since Cameron passed, we have received so much support, so much love from all the fans, all the family, all over the world. It’s like the weirdest thing for me, because I’m just like a regular dude, regular guy and for some reason, some miracle, my son transcends all of that.”
Victor said everything reminds him of his son. He revealed that he and his family are trying to move on and keep Cameron’s legacy alive through “The Cameron Boyce Foundation,” whose mission is to find a cure for epilepsy.
Rest in peace, Cameron.
