The rapper shared a lengthy but candid post on Instagram about her recent encounter with an insensitive joke about her body, which she found very offensive. "Let me be a reminder to everyone to NEVER let anyone shame you for what you choose to do with your body," the singer stated.

She continued that regardless of whatever size anyone is, people would always have the most to say, and it is important to focus on doing what is best for one's peace of mind.

"If I get a BBL, mind ur business, if I lose 100lbs, mind ur business, if I gain every pound back and then some... mind ur f-cking business. Anyways.. my fat a-s stays living with a paid off mortgage in y'all b-tches heads," the pop sensation rounded off her quick rant session.

Lizzo Kicked Against The Systemic Erasure Of Plus-Size People

Lizzo went deep into her essayist bag for this one as she released a Substack post which dove into the dominating trend of weight loss drugs and the constant sidelining of plus-sized folks after decades of measured progress.

As shared by The Blast, Lizzo affirmed in the essay that she still fits into the plus-size category as she still weighs over 200 pounds.

"So here we are halfway through the decade, where extended sizes are being magically erased from websites. Plus-sized models are no longer getting booked for modeling gigs. And all of our big girls are not-so-big anymore," the singer wondered.

She expressed that the current wave of weight loss drugs was tampering with the visibility and acceptance that plus-size people had been getting over the years, and they are now forced to take the backseat once again.

Lizzo confessed that her weight loss journey began due to feeling overwhelmed by public assumptions and looking for an escape into a quiet, sane world.

Lizzo's confession about trying the weight loss drug dropped during an appearance on Paytas' podcast, where she reflected on trying everything possible to cut down the weight.

According to The Blast, Lizzo emphasized that it was not an easy decision to let go of the drug and rely on mental discipline to fuel her progress.

She explained how Ozempic helps curb hunger pangs and how training one's mind to reduce food cravings can also produce similar results, tagging it a "mind over matter" situation.

Most importantly, Lizzo's body transformation went beyond physical alterations to her body as the singer realigned her focus towards self-care, investing in better skincare and undergoing some much-needed dental work to help her smile better.

She detailed her trip to the sauna daily alongside intense cardio training while infusing animal protein into her diet and getting a chef to help her keep tabs on her daily calorie deficit consumption.
