Gymnast Olivia Dunne Upside-Down In Swimsuit Highlights Her 'Tight Buns'

Olivia Dunne dropped jaws earlier this fall with her swimsuit action, delivering a wowing display of her strength while balancing upside-down on a paddleboard. The LSU graduate, 23, showed off her toned legs and buns of steel in a cheeky bathing suit in October, showing off her balance while in Italy as she delighted her Instagram followers. Posting to her Stories this fall, Olivia posed with her legs up at a 180-degree angle, and fans didn't take long to compliment her. Olivia had stunned in a bathing suit back in the summer, and it was here that one fan praised her for her "tight buns."

Photographed with a small yacht behind her, the gymnast kept her focus on her move, balancing her entire body weight on her head while using her hands to steady herself.

Modeling a skintight black bathing suit with a thong finish, Olivia teased her curves while flaunting her world-famous muscles, choosing a slightly metallic look with a sporty feel. The mega-influencer also rocked a low back exposing more of her toned physique while sporting her light locks scraped back into a bun.

Olivia had also posted a video version of her moment on the water. Fans dropped fire emoji, with one saying: "You go girl!" Olivia had received more comments on her swimsuit body back in June, when she made The Daily Mail's headlines for stripping down to a green bikini while on vacation with boyfriend Paul Skenes.

"Everyone loves a cute White Girl with tight buns," one fan had replied. Others had shaded Olivia Dunne, teasing her about her "15 minutes of fame" being "up," but it doesn't look like they're going anywhere. By 2021, Dunne was the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media. In 2024, she confirmed that her online endorsements were earning her seven figures. Olivia has fronted brands including American Eagle, Forever 21, Pro Plan, Planet Fitness, and Crocs.

In the above photo, Olivia offered another reminder of her gymnast flexibility as she folded her legs while delivering a handstand. This time, she took a walk on the wild side in animal-print swimwear.

“I feel like there’s kind of a bad stigma towards lifting weights, but it really transformed my body, my gymnastics, and my life…I got started with strength training because it helps so much, not only in my gymnastics career, but my everyday life as well. It empowers me and makes me feel strong and confident," Olivia Dunne told Women's Health.
