Travis Kelce doesn't want his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift to overshadow the bond he shares with his teammates, and reportedly requests that her songs not be played on game day.

Whether or not playing her song makes any difference remains to be seen, but the NFL star and his teammates have struggled to replicate their success in previous football seasons.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are still going strong in their relationship, with the Chiefs tight end recently revealing that they've "never once" argued in the more than two years they've been together.

Kelce chose not to put his relationship with Swift in the spotlight anywhere within Arrowhead Stadium as he felt doing so would separate him from the team.

In his appearance on FanDuel's "Up & Adams" show, Mark Donovan, who has been running the Kansas City Chiefs' front office for more than a decade now, revealed that Kelce requested that the office keep her music off the Stadium speakers on gamedays around the time they just started dating.

Donovan recounted how Kelce's reasoning was because he wanted to maintain focus on the team and the game, and felt like playing her hits and placing her in the spotlight would separate him from the rest of the team.

"We never played a Taylor Swift song in the stadium when she's in the building," Donovan said, per TMZ. "Travis, to his credit, is all about team, and he's all about the guys, and he's all about being part of the team and not being separate. He said, 'That separates me, like when we're playing a game, when we're in the stadium, it's about us. I want it to be about us.'"

The Chiefs organization honored the star player's wish as Donovan confirmed that the Grammy-winning singer's songs have never been played on speakers when she's in attendance, nor have they displayed her on the stadium's scoreboard, unlike many national broadcasts.

"We never showed Taylor on our big boards in our stadium -- never," he said. "It was respectful. It's like, we're not gonna do that. We're not taking advantage of this relationship."

Kelce's concern is quite understandable as he and the "Bad Blood" hitmaker haven't struggled to make headlines since they started dating.

The singer has a large and loyal fan base that has seemingly affected the viewership of the Chiefs' games since she started supporting her boyfriend.

Kelce and his teammates continue to struggle to replicate the form that led them to multiple Super Bowl wins over the last few years.

Their hopes for making it to the postseason hang in the balance as they now need to win the final five games on their 2025 schedule.

They've managed a disappointing 6-6 record this season, and with their next obstacle being the Houston Texans on Sunday night, a defeat could see them well out of place for their title aspirations.

Kelce has admitted that there's a need for improvement, as he discussed the Chiefs' performance on his "New Heights" podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason.

He added, "What is real is that we still have a chance, baby, and that's all that matters to me. We have a chance, and we keep coming to work with the mindset and sense of urgency we need to fix this mess."

Meanwhile, the NFL star and his fiancée have been growing strong in their relationship as he recently revealed they've "never once" argued since they started dating.

The Oscar winner then asked the 3-time Super Bowl winner if he had ever had an issue with Swift, to which he replied: "Well, it's only been two and a half years, and you're right."

"I haven't gotten into an argument. Never once," Kelce noted, per The Blast.
