A day later, a source confirmed that she and Maxx Morando are officially engaged, making the eye-catching diamond the center of attention.

Others have placed it lower, explaining that the stone’s clarity and whether it is mined or lab-grown could change the price dramatically.

Miley Cyrus’ engagement ring has become a topic of debate among jewelry professionals because of its unusual design and the different ways its value can be measured.

Blue Nile’s Daniela Tarantino estimates that the ring might be worth between $300,000 and $450,000.

“This engagement ring is a chunky gold east-west bezel set ring - a modern and chic trend we are seeing in the bridal industry," Tarantino said in a press email. "We believe the ring is roughly a 4-5 carat modified cushion that costs around $300,000 to $450,000.”

Reyne Hirsch, a former Antiques Roadshow appraiser, believes its retail value might fall closer to $150,000 to $250,000, depending on the stone’s “color and clarity.”

Kristy Cullinane, a diamond expert and co-founder of Plum Diamonds, also weighed in on the piece, pointing out that the price could shift even more.

“The diamond appears to be approximately 4 to 5 carats, and the estimated value of the ring would be $200,000+ for a mined diamond or $15,000 for a lab-grown diamond,” she revealed.

Cyrus’ new engagement ring also highlights the long road she and Morando have traveled together.

They first sparked romance rumors in December 2021 after being seen together backstage at her NBC holiday special.

By April 2022, their relationship seemed confirmed when they were photographed kissing in West Hollywood.
