Miley Cyrus Is Reportedly Engaged To Boyfriend Of 4 Years

Miley Cyrus is ready to walk down the aisle a second time as she takes her relationship with Maxx Morando to the next stage.

The "Hannah Montana" alum has been keeping fans on their toes about her relationship status with the drummer for days; however, the cat is finally out of the bag.

Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando have been romantically linked since 2021, a year after the finalization of her divorce from Liam Hemsworth. The former couple were in an on-and-off-again relationship before they tied the knot in 2018.

A fan broke the news of Cyrus's engagement to Morando on X, sharing pictures taken from the drummer's father's Instagram page. "Maxx's dad just confirmed Maxx and Miley are engaged," they captioned the post.

The pictures appeared to have been taken from Cyrus's 33rd birthday celebration, given the similar setting to the pictures she uploaded. However, in the snaps Morando's father shared, she was seen posing with his son and flashing the stunning gem on her left ring finger.

There was also a close-up shot of the engagement ring, with Morando's father captioning the touching images with his congratulations and tagging the couple alongside a slew of emojis, including a red heart, a diamond ring, and a champagne bottle.

Before Morando's dad confirmed the engagement rumors, Cyrus had kept fans guessing the status of her relationship with the drummer since her 33rd birthday celebration. The Blast recently reported that the engagement speculations had skyrocketed following the duo's red carpet appearance.

Cyrus and Morando attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Avatar: Fire and Ash" on Monday, December 1, at the Dolby Theatre. They donned matching black ensembles, with the "Flowers" hitmaker in a strapless sequined gown designed with a dramatic ruffled train.

On the other hand, the Lily band drummer rocked a classic black tuxedo but skipped the bow tie. The lovebirds could not keep their hands to themselves as they posed for pictures, with Cyrus frequently flaunting the stunning gem on her left ring finger for all to see.

According to a report by The Daily Mail, the jewelry designer of Cyrus's engagement ring was none other than Jacquie Aiche from Los Angeles. A jewelry expert believed the ring's cost fell within the $150,000 range, given its uniqueness.

Olivia Landau, Founder & CEO, The Clear Cut, described the ring as "a very of-the-moment take on a classic silhouette." She noted the center stone in the gold band appeared to be "an elongated cushion cut diamond with crushed ice faceting, likely around 3-4 carats."

Annie Chen, SVP Merchandising, Brilliant Earth, echoed similar sentiments, telling the outlet that Cyrus's ring probably featured "a 4 to 5 carat, east-west pale-yellow elongated cushion diamond set in an increasingly popular chunky yellow gold setting."

Cyrus and Morando first stepped out together in November 2021 at the Gucci "Love Parade" fashion show in L.A. A month later, PEOPLE reported that they were spotted getting cozy backstage at “Miley's New Year's Eve Party” special in Miami.

In April 2022, Cyrus and Morando's romance became public after they were photographed kissing in West Hollywood. They made their red carpet debut at the Versace show in L.A. in March 2023, posing for pictures while walking hand-in-hand.

The singer shared more details about their relationship in a June 2023 interview, revealing that they had met on a blind date. A year later, Cyrus gave Morando a special shout-out at the 2024 Grammys when she won the record of the year award, calling him “my love.”

Three months before her engagement made waves, The Blast shared in September that Cyrus had mentioned her ex-husband, Hemsworth, in an interview. She revealed she had a tendency to store things from her past, especially clothing.

“I literally have a dress that I had on when I met my ex-husband, and then I have my dress that I wore on our first date, along with letters,” Cyrus confessed. She explained that she kept these items because they were linked to some of the most beautiful moments in her life.
