Engagement talk exploded after photos showed Miley Cyrus arriving at the Los Angeles premiere outside the Dolby Theatre wearing a large diamond ring on her left ring finger.

Fans recognized the same ring from the Instagram photos she shared just days earlier for her 33rd birthday on November 23.

Set on a gold band, the piece stood out again as she posed on the red carpet with Maxx Morando beside her. Cyrus didn’t hide the beautiful jewelry either.

The ring was visible as she moved between solo shots and photos with Morando.

She even paired it with another diamond ring on her index finger, along with several rings on her right hand and a diamond choker that matched the overall sparkle of her look.

Along with the buzz around her ring, Miley Cyrus’ striking outfit drew plenty of attention.

The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker stepped out in an Old Hollywood–style black gown with a strapless sequin bodice and a flowing ruffled skirt that trailed behind her.

The look showed off many of her tattoos while giving her a dramatic presence on the carpet.

Her hair was styled in messy, voluminous waves swept to one side, and her makeup highlighted her blue eyes with dark shadow along the top and bottom lids.

She added pinky-nude lipstick and soft contouring to tie the look together.

Cyrus spent the night going back and forth between cuddling up to Morando and posing alone in front of the large "Avatar" displays outside the Dolby Theatre.

Cyrus and Morando have kept much of their relationship private since meeting on a blind date in late 2021, but their connection has grown quickly.

The couple confirmed their relationship the following year and have appeared together at several significant events in 2024, including the Academy Awards, the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, and NBC’s SNL50 anniversary celebration.

Despite their beautiful bond, the six-year age gap has been a significant topic of discussion.

Cyrus has spoken openly about it in the past, calling herself a “cougar” in a playful way, though she sees it as a positive difference.

During a chat with Harper’s Bazaar in 2024, the songwriter explained that Morando “looks at life really differently” and grew up “with a laptop,” while she shared a desktop computer with her siblings.

Despite that, Cyrus described him as “very similar” to her, adding that they “don’t take life too seriously,” which has helped them maintain a balanced relationship.

Long before the ring rumors, Miley Cyrus’ marriage and divorce from Liam Hemsworth remained one of Hollywood’s most talked-about breakups.

The former couple met while filming “The Last Song” and had an on-and-off relationship beginning in 2009.

They married in December 2018 but separated eight months later in August 2019.

By the time their divorce was finalized, they had only been married for 13 months. Since their split, the 33-year-old has spoken about the breakup many times.

During a 2020 appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, she called it something that “f*cking sucked.”

Cyrus explained that the split itself wasn’t the most challenging part, noting that it was the “villainizing” and the rumors that followed.

She also pushed back against claims of infidelity, adding that people forget “there’s a lot of time in between that you didn’t see.”

As Cyrus continues to move forward, she has opened up about the moment she knew her marriage could no longer continue.

Speaking to fans on TikTok in 2023, the Grammy Award winner said the decision came during her Glastonbury Festival performance in June 2019.

She explained that she and Hemsworth had tried to rebuild quickly after losing their Malibu home in the Woolsey Fire, but the pressure made everything harder.

Cyrus shared that she wanted peace at home, saying she doesn’t “get off on drama or fighting.”

According to the star, when she finally took the stage at Glastonbury, she knew “it was no longer going to work” for her life.

Her 2023 hit “Flowers,” which earned Grammy recognition, was widely believed to reference the end of her relationship with the actor.
