Former Prince Andrew allegedly knew of convicted sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein's "inappropriate" conduct with a victim but still recommended that an unnamed actress grow close to him.

A new report has revealed that the woman's alleged abuse came more than a year before the former Duke of York met Virginia Giuffre, whom he has consistently denied abusing.

The disgraced royal, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has since been stripped of his titles and honors and kicked out of his cherished home, Royal Lodge.

Disturbing new claims have emerged in the ongoing legal debacle surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, suggesting Andrew's ties ran deeper than initially presumed.

A report by the Daily Mail claims that the former duke knew of Epstein's "inappropriate" conduct with women long before he met Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual abuse.

Perry Wander, a lawyer representing an unnamed actress Andrew dated in the late 90s, claims that her client complained to the disgraced royal that Epstein had behaved "inappropriately towards her."

However, Andrew allegedly told her "he wasn't surprised" because another person had made such allegations too, although the identity of that person remains unknown.

The incident took place about a year before Epstein allegedly trafficked 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre to London to meet with Andrew. The now-late Giuffre accused the then-prince of sexual assault, but he has consistently denied that he carried out such acts.

Worse still for the former royal is the fact that he was the one who introduced the unnamed actress to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, even though he was allegedly aware of his "inappropriate" behavior towards women.

According to the news outlet, she then spent time with the late sexual offender, including flying on his private jet, as well as visiting his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, and his private Caribbean island, where he allegedly carried out disturbing acts with young girls.

The actress is understood to be one of Epstein's last victims to have received a payout.

"My client has disclosed that Prince Andrew encouraged her to seek out and follow Jeffrey Epstein's guidance, and to spend time with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell," Wander said.

Speaking further about Andrew's deep ties with Epstein, the unnamed actress's lawyer, Wander, shared that he, the former duke, urged her client to get close to the late sex offender by stressing how much he "trusted" him.

"When she questioned Prince Andrew about whether doing so was safe, he reassured her that he 'trusted Jeffrey and Ghislaine' and that she 'should listen to Jeffrey's counsel and spend time with him and Ghislaine,'" the lawyer said.

"One memory that stayed with her – and became a compelling factor in identifying Prince Andrew – was a conversation in early 2000 in which she confided in him about her time with Epstein and disclosed that he had behaved inappropriately towards her," he added.

Wander went further to note that her client is only coming out now because she was inspired by Giuffre's "courage."

"She was inspired... by her desire to stand with other survivors, and by the profound impact of Virginia Giuffre's passing, which served as a catalyst for her to speak publicly," the legal expert said.

In her posthumous memoir, "Nobody's Girl," she stated that she first had sex with Andrew on March 10, 2001. A photo that shows Andrew, Giuffre, and Maxwell in Maxwell's apartment has been widely circulated since the early 2010s.

Giuffre, who took her life this year, sued Andrew for the alleged violation in a New York civil suit, but it was settled in February 2022 as the former duke paid her an undisclosed amount and donated a substantial amount to her charity.

Things have seemingly worsened for Andrew since Giuffre's passing, as he has been completely stripped of his remaining titles, including his princehood.

According to the Daily Mail, the defense chiefs have given the go-ahead for his last title to be taken away, weeks after King Charles removed his links to the royal family and ejected him from the Royal Lodge.

The former royal is still a Vice Admiral in the Royal Navy, leaving senior military personnel to describe it as "extraordinary," as they advised the British government to "get on with it."

"This is a move that's right. It's a move the King has indicated we should take, and we're working on that at the moment," Defense Secretary John Healey said in an interview with the BBC.

However, a source within the Ministry of Defence told the Times that the process is "ongoing" but refused to comment on why there's a delay.

"Defence continues to act in line with His Majesty's intent regarding the process to remove the style, titles and honours of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor," the source said.
