Michael Douglas and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, are reportedly very displeased over the manner in which their son Dylan was humiliated during a roundtable discussion on politics with CNN commentator Scott Jennings.
Young Dylan was left stuttering incomprehensibly midway through the interview, which has seemingly become a source of mockery behind the scenes.
Now, according to sources, his parents, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, intend to blacklist the entire network, as they believe CNN crossed the line.
The Couple 'Hated Every Second' Of The CNN Show

Insiders have informed Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop about Douglas and Zeta-Jones' reaction to their son's disastrous interview on CNN.
The couple is said to be so "furious" with the media outlet that they intend to "blacklist the whole network" moving forward.
On Zeta-Jones' part, she has reportedly been ranting to her friends about how the interview was "unfair and exploitative," seemingly referring to how her son was left stunned and stuttering at some of the questions he was asked.
Meanwhile, Douglas shares the same opinion and has told his close circle that the outlet "crossed a line."
Part of the reason the couple is so angered by the entire situation appears to be that they knew their son wasn't prepared for such a heated debate.
"Dylan's never been spoken to like that in his entire life. He's always been the golden boy — adored, protected. CNN gave him a taste of the real world, and his parents hated every second of it," said a source.
Michael Douglas And Catherine Zeta-Jones's Son Was Demolished By CNN's Scott Jennings

Dylan's appearance on CNN was during a roundtable sit-down with commentator Scott Jennings on Monday's News Night, per the Daily Mail.
The duo discussed the recent news of the Senate passing a funding bill to reopen the government.
Dylan appeared to place the blame on Republicans for the record-long shutdown, while Jennings argued it was the Democrats' fault.
For a while, the two continued engaging in a back-and-forth, but when Jennings began hitting Dylan with statistical figures and facts, the young politics enthusiast was left stunned and unable to defend his stance.
This became especially apparent when the conversation shifted toward the expiring Affordable Care Act tax credits, which Democrats said were the reason they would not pass the funding bill.
The politically active son of the Hollywood favorite began stuttering incomprehensibly, a sign that he seemed unsure of what to say.

Days ago, Douglas and Zeta-Jones marked a major milestone in their marriage. The two have been married for 25 years, and both took to their social media pages to write emotional tributes to each other.
"25 years ago today, I walked down the aisle," Zeta-Jones wrote alongside a series of throwback photos, including a few from their wedding day.
She continued, "The intoxicating aroma of flowers, the glow of the candles, the resounding harmonious Welsh choir, and you at the end of the long walk waiting for me, looking at me the way only you can. I love you today as I did then. Thank you, sweetheart."
"Happy 25th anniversary, my darling Catherine. Who knew? All my love, Michael," Douglas wrote, adding a throwback photo of themselves taken at a gathering.
The A-List Couple Allegedly Hit A Rough Patch Amid Catherine Zeta-Jones' Busy Schedule

Prior to the loving anniversary posts, sources speculated that the couple's marriage was being strained.
This was reportedly largely due to Zeta-Jones picking up more work and leaving Douglas, who is now mostly retired, all alone.
"She's got a lot on her plate right now and has no intention of giving up on her career or slowing down, far from it," an insider told the Globe. "This could turn into a divorce nightmare."
"He wouldn't expect her to drop everything and sit by his side, but it pains him that she's coming home excited and giddy over her career while he's relegated to the easy chair," the source added.
Michael Douglas Wants His Wife 'To Be Happy'

According to the insider, Douglas and Zeta-Jones are now "ships passing in the night," despite still living together.
"He doesn't blame Catherine or resent her and wants her to be happy," the source remarked.
They added about Douglas: "But the fact is the kids have grown and moved out, and he's alone in the house more or less and bored out of his mind."
