After the White House, Melania Trump may be diving fully into movie production, as she has announced the launch of her own production company.
The mother of one announced the launch on her X page on November 28, 2025, with a short trailer that highlighted the name of the company, "Muse Films."
The name appears to be a nod to the code name the Secret Service used in addressing her during President Donald Trump's first term.
In addition to announcing the launch of the company, Melania also revealed its first project, a documentary titled after her.
"PRESENTING: MUSE FILMS. My new production company," she wrote on the post, "MELANIA, the film, exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30th, 2026."
Melania Trump Faced Mixed Reactions

The announcement was well received by fans of the First Lady, who took to the comment section to congratulate her.
"Congratulations on this great adventure," one wrote, while another commented, "so excited for this!! I know it will be highly successful!!"
A third fan said, "Congratulations on the launch of Muse Films! Can't wait to see "MELANIA" light up the big screen. It's going to be a blockbuster!
However, amid the praises were some critics, who took the opportunity to scrutinize Melania's new company and documentary.
"If you had to start your own production company to get your own movie, chances are, it's not a good movie," one person wrote.
Another commented sarcastically, "I have a new production company! Now watch the only thing we've produced! A film about me."
All About Melania Trump's Upcoming Documentary

While Melania is executive-producing the film, she has the more experienced Rush Hour director, Brett Ratner, helming the project.
The film will first be released on its slated date in January, after which it will premiere on Amazon's Prime Video, the streaming giant with which Melania is partnering.
According to a logline for the film, it will chronicle the first 20 days leading up to her husband's inauguration for a second presidential term, but told from the First Lady's perspective.
This will include critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments, as well as how Melania navigates the complexities of her family's return to the White House.
Although a full trailer has yet to be released, it is likely that Melania's son Barron and Trump himself will make appearances in the film.
The Former Model Recently Received Fox's Patriot Of The Year Award

Earlier in the month, Melania was honored with the Patriot of the Year Award at Fox Nation's seventh annual Patriot Awards.
Taking to the stage in a modest but elegant black gown, the former model delivered a rousing speech about patriotism that lasted several minutes.
"Patriotism in our country dates back to our rebellious founders, who raged against British rule seeking independence from the crown," she said. "They all defied expectations politically and intellectually. Each shared a common trait: They reinvented how things work," Melania told the attendees, per People Magazine.
She added, "We see it again and again; personal achievement fuels collective progress. When someone creates from conviction... a song, a movement, an idea, it ripples outward, uniting our people."
Melania then ended the speech with a call to her attendees and other listeners at home to be ambitious and productive for the country.
"So, America, tonight let's make a personal pledge to celebrate ambition and scale imagination to create a more advanced and prosperous society. Individual productivity is not selfish; it's the heartbeat of civilization," she concluded.
Melania Trump Was Sued By A Journalist Who Linked Her To Jeffrey Epstein

Away from her recent wins, the first lady is also embroiled in a lawsuit filed by journalist Michael Wolff, per TMZ.
Wolff filed the suit in response to a threat from Melania about taking legal action against him over comments he made linking her to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
One such comment from Wolff, published in The Daily Beast, claimed that the mother of one was "very involved" in the Epstein scandal.
Melania had responded to the comments with a demand letter for an immediate retraction, as well as a promise to "initiate legal action against Wolff for over $1 billion in damages" if he failed to do so and provide an apology.
For now, it is unclear whether Melania has moved forward with the lawsuit against Wolff.
