The Two-Time Emmy Award Winner Recently Had A Health Scare

The entertainer had a medical emergency that made the news and raised concerns. In September, his agent, Harry Gold, allegedly claimed Shatner had experienced a blood sugar issue while at his Los Angeles home.

He then called for emergency medical service workers as a precaution and was transported to a local hospital in an LAFD ambulance. It was reported that he was fine and returned to his home shortly.

Other reports debunked the hospitalization news with claims that Shatner's agency, TalentWorks, emphasized that the widespread reports of his medical emergency were false. The "Star Trek" star, however, assured fans later that he was hale and hearty and thanked fans for caring about him.
