Ben Affleck And His Mom Reportedly Spent Thanksgiving With His Ex-Wife As Actor Focuses On His 'Health'

Ben Affleck reportedly made his way to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's house to spend Thanksgiving Day with her and their children.

The former couple was also together for last year's Thanksgiving holiday, which they spent by volunteering for Midnight Mission in L.A.

Earlier this year, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner fueled rumors that they were rekindling their romance, but the actress is reportedly "happy" and committed to her boyfriend, John Miller.

According to People Magazine, a source shared that Affleck spent the Thanksgiving Holiday with his ex-wife, Garner, and their children at the actress's house in L.A.

Affleck and Garner, who finalized their divorce in 2018, share three children: Violet, Fin, and Samuel. However, they've remained close to each other and always prioritize their co-parenting effort.

"Just like last year, Jen hosted Thanksgiving at her house. Ben and his mom joined," the source shared. "Jen makes it very special. She's such a great chef. She loves having her whole family together, too. Ben's always welcome at her house."

The insider previously stated that the former couple "gets along and really support each other," noting that "Ben's doing well and staying focused on work, his health and his kids."

"Jen's his biggest cheerleader. It took them years to get to this point, but Jen never gave up on him," the source added. "And it's all friendly and centered around the kids now."

Affleck's stopover at Garner's house for the Thanksgiving celebration seems to be turning into a tradition, as he also joined them for the same last year.

At the time, they volunteered with L.A.-based Charity, The Midnight Mission, and joined in to share food with the homeless community.

This year, she had to make do alone as Affleck was nowhere to be seen when she was pictured dishing out food today, per the Daily Mail.

She put on a cheerful look as she helped share what appeared to be scallion mashed potatoes.

According to its website, the charity has an aim of serving 2,500 meals over Thanksgiving. It has major corporate sponsors like Bank of America and Albertsons.

In the months following his split from his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, Affleck sparked rumors he was reuniting with Garner.

They were even seen going on fun public dates and were pictured hugging on one of such outings.

However, the source who spoke with People said that the "Elektra" actress is "happy with" her boyfriend, John Miller, whom she has been with since 2018.

"He's been incredibly patient and understanding of her family focus," the source noted. "He's a great guy and treats Jen very well. She loves dating him."

During the L.A. premiere of the movie "Kiss Of The Spider-Woman" in October, Affleck opened up about his co-parenting dynamics with Garner.

The former couple has been doing a great job at co-parenting and put up a united front as they dropped daughter Violet at Yale University for her freshman year.

The 19-year-old has become an activist and previously called for the mask mandate to continue.

Affleck was asked about his thoughts on her testimony at the United Nations in September, where she spoke on the effect of the pandemic on children.

"I could not be more proud of my children. I can't even tell you," he said. "[Violet] takes after her mom. She's spectacular."

"And I'm very lucky that I've got a great partner and that we got great kids. It's the joy of my life, and I'm just very, very lucky. And it makes me happy every day," he added about Garner.

Prior to the Thanksgiving outing, Affleck was recently spotted attending a racing event in Las Vegas.

The Oscar winner looked noticeably different, showing off a chiseled jawline without his beard and taut, tanned skin.

Affleck also looked more toned and healthier, indicating that he is doing fine since his divorce from Lopez.

For the racing event, Affleck rocked a bluish-grey button-down cardigan, a grey T-shirt, and khaki trousers. He also had on a navy blue utility jacket and a pair of white and blue Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low sneakers.
