Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, spent Thanksgiving Day without her husband for the first time and took to social media to reflect on it and share a moving tribute to him.

The TPUSA CEO was lost for words due to the outpouring of love she and her family have received since Charlie was murdered in September, sharing that she would "save a plate" for her late husband.

This comes days after Erika Kirk revealed that she was "praying" she was pregnant with Charlie Kirk's baby when he was killed, explaining that they had always wanted four children.

Erika didn't celebrate Thanksgiving Day without remembering her slain husband, Charlie.

The right-wing activist was assassinated in September while at a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University, and his wife made sure to pay tribute to him, especially as he wasn't around to carry out their family tradition for the holiday.

The mother-of-two took to her Instagram account to share a video where she's seen sorting through letters and gifts her family has received as she expressed gratitude for all she's got.

"Charlie and I always loved Thanksgiving because it drew us back to the simple, but holy practice of gratitude," she began in the lengthy caption. "And even now, well, especially now, in the depths of the ache, I'm reminded of that gratitude."

"God blessed me with being married to the love of my life, with our beautiful babies, with our family and friends, and with people from all over the world who have sent us letters, toys, artwork, and Bibles," Erika continued.

The Widow Says She Will 'Save A Plate' For Her Late Husband

In her post, the 36-year-old public figure noted that she has been left smitten with the outpouring of love she and her babies have received in the wake of Charlie's passing, adding that she "can't express" what it means to them.

She said: "I'm reading every letter and card, opening every gift, and saving each one for them when they're older. I'm thankful for a God who brings life out of ashes, who guards my heart, and who carries us as we do our best … today and every day."

Erika then ended the caption, adding that she will "save a plate" for Charlie during their family's Thanksgiving dinner.

Before his death, Charlie spearheaded the Turning Point USA network and would often go on his "Prove Me Wrong" campaign, where he debated with American youths on issues ranging from faith to politics.

"We talk about heaven. I make it really exciting. I tell her, 'Daddy had so much fun today,'" Erika said in the voice-over.

She continued, "I tell her — my son, he's only a year and a half — but I tell both of them, 'Daddy is telling all of his friends to send you gifts and letters, and daddy is orchestrating from heaven to make sure that you always feel so loved.'"

In an interview with Fox News, Erika was moved to tears as she described seeing her husband moments after he was shot in the hospital.

"When we walked into that room ... he had this smirk on his face," Erika said as she wiped tears from her eyes.

She continued, "That smirk, that smirk to me is that look of, 'You thought you could stop what I've built. You thought you could end this vision, this movement, this revival. You thought you could do that by murdering me. You got my body; you didn't get my soul.'"

Erika has since taken over the reins of Turning Point USA since the death of her husband.

Members of its board shared in an open letter on social media revealed that Charlie "expressed to multiple executives that this is what he wanted in the event of his death."

She has also shown her gracious side by publicly forgiving Charlie's alleged killer while speaking at the late activist's memorial service.

However, during a recent sit-down with Megyn Kelly for her live show, Erika expressed indifference toward the suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson, saying that he will face "the justice of God."
