Halsey Shares Pregnancy Update: ‘Beeeeen Ready’

Halsey is ready for their little one to make an appearance any day now. The singer updated fans on their pregnancy progress in a video posted to Instagram. Sporting a black bikini top and a pair of lightweight sweatpants, the two-time Grammy winner showed off their growing belly and expressed how ready they were to have this baby. “Too hot outside. Beeeeen ready. (Yes it's ONE baby lol),” wrote the singer on IG Story. They basked in the hot sun trying to stay cool and enjoying their last few days as a childless person.

Halsey joked about the size of their bump as they focused on being a whole vibe wearing a purple bucket hat and a blissful smile. The song Heat Wave by the Glass Animals played over the video. They rubbed their belly, which they have compared to several heavy objects including a basketball. The singer’s pregnancy came as a shock to fans who did not even know that they were involved with anyone. The January announcement was posted on Instagram with their partner, screenwriter Alev Aydin tagged in the rainbow post captioned “surprise”. He commented on the announcement, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness.”

The Bad At Love singer who seems enamored with Aydin and their future together commented, “I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!”. In February, a friend of the couple shared with PEOPLE.com that they are doing very well and describing them as happy. “Halsey seems very excited about the baby. After the pregnancy announcement, she now wears clothes that show off her cute bump.” Halsey also revealed that this is the second pregnancy for her as her first one in 2015 resulted in a miscarriage. While most of this pregnancy has been a joy for the singer, they also revealed that trolls have been having a field day making assumptions about their relationship and the conception of their child.

“Why is it ok to speculate and pass judgment about fertility and conception?” they asked in a post on Instagram Story. “My pregnancy was 100% planned, and I tried very hard for this bb. But I would be just as happy even if it were another way.” immediately shutting down those who assumed the pregnancy was a mistake or worse, a complete accident. Halsey has never been afraid to stick up for themselves and others. They routinely put trolls in their place and aggravate them even more by living their best life!

As the singer awaits the arrival of their baby, they have made sure to not deny their loyal fans a glimpse into their happy pregnancy. They even get regular bump updates with Halsey showing off their bump every chance they get. The pregnancy also has them feeling nostalgic, the Without You singer has been sharing old photos of their time as a baby and family moments as they prepare to bring their own bundle of joy into the world. While Halsey has not shared their due date, fans may get a “surprise” announcement similar to the one posted announcing the pregnancy.
