Alicia Silverstone rose to fame in the 90s as a teen idol, starring in hit movies like 1995's "Clueless." She reportedly stopped consuming animal products in 1998, leading to her having a complicated relationship with Thanksgiving because it involved the deaths of several animals.

Last year, Silverstone penned an emotional message about why she disliked the tradition, citing the deaths of animals alongside the "pillaging of Native lands and the slaughter of Indigenous peoples." Living icon Cher has echoed similar sentiments about her dislike for Thanksgiving.

While some celebrities refused to celebrate Thanksgiving, others had a different way of marking the occasion. "Bad Guy" hitmaker Billie Eilish tops the list as a committed vegan who advocates for turkeys whenever the holiday rolls around.

She has repeatedly implored fans to change their views on the tradition and choose meals that don't involve death. Hollywood icon Pamela Anderson similarly marked the holiday by spending the day with live turkeys at an animal sanctuary.

The list of celebrities opting for a vegan Thanksgiving continues with Travis Barker. His wife, Kourtney Kardashian, hosted a fully vegan Thanksgiving celebration in 2023, in honor of his vegan lifestyle. Actress Kristen Bell also skips turkey and uses tofu for her celebrations.

Although Hollywood icon Angelina Jolie has never voiced out her opinions about Thanksgiving, a source once claimed she detested the occasion because of its origins. "Jolie hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans," the source alleged.

As for her 2025 Thanksgiving plans, an insider told The Daily Mail that Jolie would likely spend time with all six of her children. On the other hand, a separate source shared that her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, would enjoy the holiday with his longtime partner, Ines de Ramon.

While Jolie and Pitt can't spend Thanksgiving as a family due to their contentious relationship, Travis Kelce might not get to mark the occasion with his fiancée due to an away game. The Kansas City Chiefs player was set to face off with the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

ELLE reported that it was uncertain if Taylor Swift would join him at the game, as she had stopped attending his away matches since last season. Although the couple has been keeping a low profile this year, a source previously shed light on their potential holiday plans.

In October, the source claimed that Swift and Kelce were looking forward to a "very low-key, family-centric, and [won't involve any] major travel" celebration. The occasion would allegedly involve their respective families, matching the theme of last year's event, where Swift hosted both families.
