More accusations topple the shelf in Eminem's trademark dispute with Bravo stars.
The legal brawl between the rapper and reality stars, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant, which has been on since 2023, keeps getting bigger. Now, it seems the end of this battle is not in sight as new situations and claims keep arising.
The reality stars are not backing down, and neither is Eminem, hence the Shady dispute may extend far longer than we expect. This all started when they applied to obtain the trademark for "Reasonably Shady," the name of their podcast.

"The Real Housewives of Potomac" stars Bryant and Dixon have recently accused Eminem of demanding special treatment ahead of his deposition.
They claim that despite the fact that the rapper was ordered to appear for the deposition, he and his team circled before deciding on one. Eminem and his lawyer allegedly took weeks to decide on and schedule a date for him to appear.
Even after the date was chosen, the rapper's legal counsel wrote to the opposing side stating that it was difficult to get their client to commit. They added that the reality stars should take the opportunity when they can get him.
The date decided was October 29, and Bryant and Dixon claim that Eminem's lawyer said the rapper would show up at 2 p.m. and told them it would need to be done in two hours. They claim that his legal team implied that they should be grateful to depose Eminem, even though it's just for two hours.
As US Weekly reports, the 2 p.m. schedule did not sit right with the "RHOP" stars, and even after they objected, nothing was done. The artist's lawyer did not give any reason why they could only start by that time instead of choosing something else that was comfortable for everyone.
The Rapper Reportedly Tried To Be Understanding With The Bravo Stars

In response to their claims, Eminem's lawyer stated that instead of working with them on Eminem's schedule, Dixon and Bryant rushed to file a motion over the issue.
He noted that the rapper agreed to go with the deposition for as long as necessary, but the stars refused to cooperate. The lawyer called them out, saying their motion was designed to harass his client.
Furthermore, the music star's legal counsel defended his client, clapping back at the earlier claims. He said that Eminem was willing to appear for a deposition at a "mutually convenient time for the parties."
Nevertheless, due to pre-existing commitments related to the recording of his new music, it could not be as early as 11 a.m. as the pair demanded.
Eminem's unavailability at certain times was not an empty claim to avoid showing up. His manager, Paul Rosenberg, filed a declaration in support, which stated that the rapper's presence was essential at the studio and absences would be an expensive career choice.
Inside The Trademark Legal Tussle

In 2023, the reality stars filed to trademark their podcast name "Reasonably Shady." Eminem opposed the request, claiming it was too similar to his famous nicknames, Slim Shady and Shady.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office Board filed its application, and Eminem argued that he had spent over a decade building the "Shady" trademark. As reported by The Blast, their initial request to depose the artist was thrown out, so they filed for a reconsideration.
Eminem, at the time, argued against their initial request for deposition, claiming that a personal appearance in court would be an "unduly burdensome" task on his person. He then suggested three people to stand in his stead.
They were his manager, Paul Rosenberg, the Chief Marketing Officer of Universal Music Group subsidiary Fame House, Eric Hahn, and Stuart Parr, a longtime licensing handler.
Gizelle Bryant Took The Legal Battle Personally

In May this year, it came to light that Bryant was not leaving this battle just to the lawyers and the court. The "RHOP" star made Eminem's music totally off-limits in her household.
Her children even turn off the radio when his song comes on, and The Blast reported that her family is behind her as the trademark battle is ongoing. It does not even have to be an Eminem single; the kids quickly shut down any song featuring the rapper.
"If it comes on the radio, in the car, my kids would be like, 'That's Eminem. Turn it. My kids are on top of it. They know. No, no Eminem for us," the reality TV star stated. However, they still listen to Dr. Dre's music despite his close ties to the rapper.
Eminem Is Building A Romantic Life Amid His Legal Scruffle

Even though this ongoing shady battle is weighing on the artist, some positive news ensued as he has reportedly found love again. Last month, the rapper was rumored to be igniting a romantic relationship with his longtime hairstylist, Katrina Malota.
As shared by The Blast, he had reportedly given up on love and dedicated his time to raising his children. It was revealed last year that he was too paranoid to give love a chance. Past experiences and relationships with women had also affected him, making it difficult to trust again.
The pair have not made an official statement declaring their relationship, but they have been spotted together for work as she works with him on his music videos. Malota also works with other top artists in the industry.
