Anne Heche's first son, Homer Laffoon, continues to be involved in more drama, and this time it's not over her estate but an alleged secret love affair.
Barely recovering from a troubling probate battle with creditors over Heche's estate, Laffoon is now facing a new ordeal as an ex-lover has accused him of neglecting their child.
After Heche's tragic passing in 2022 following a devastating car crash, multiple parties filed demands, further complicating her financial matters.
Anne Heche's Heir, Homer Laffoon, Sued For Child Support After A Woman claimed they Share A Son

A 43-year-old woman named Jessica Lamberto has come forward with allegations that she and Laffoon share a two-year-old son named Rocco from what she describes as a "casual" relationship.
Lamberto said Laffoon failed to help financially with the child's care, leading to Riverside County seeking a court order requiring him to pay $1,013 per month beginning in December, according to documents obtained by the Daily Mail.
Lamberto recalled to the outlet that she met the 23-year-old online in 2020 and spent some time together before losing touch. They reconnected after Heche's demise, which led to her getting pregnant.
For the duration of the pregnancy, she noted Laffoon had mixed feelings about it. According to Lamberto, he had initially said he wanted no part of it and cut off communication with her.
Homer Laffoon Accused Of Being Absent In His Child's Life

Although Laffoon was uninterested at first, Lamberto pointed out that he had a change of mind and was supportive months before they welcomed the boy and promised to be around on the big day.
However, he failed to show up despite her repeated calls, blaming his absence on work. Since Rocco's birth on October 17, Lamberto alleged Laffoon has seen their son only a handful of times and has not had any contact with the child in the last seven months.
What finally pushed her into taking action against Laffoon was Riverside County's persuasion that if she did not apply for child support for Rocco, he would risk losing his insurance.
The money the county demanded from Laffoon was based on his salary working for a production company, and when he was served notice at his workplace, it sparked tension in his family.
Anne Heche's Son Homer Laffoon Finally Made Progress On Lengthy Probate Case

This latest legal fight arrives just three weeks after Laffoon achieved a breakthrough in the long probate process of his late mother's estate, which has been weighed down by significant debts for more than three years.
As The Blast previously covered, a November 3 filing revealed that Laffoon had reached a tentative settlement with creditors and requested an additional six months from the court to finalize the agreement.
His attorney explained that the prolonged timeline was due to complicated negotiations with multiple claimants. Laffoon had earlier cited poor financial records and Heche's insolvency as reasons her affairs remained unresolved.
How Bad Was Anne Heche's Estate Turmoil?

The Blast reported that Heche's estate faced millions in claims, including a combined $6 million demand from the woman who lived in the house Heche crashed into and property owners.
The 53-year-old actress's former boyfriend, Thomas Jane, also filed a claim, seeking the balance to a $157,000 loan he gave her in late 2022 with a $10,000-per-month repayment plan that stopped after two installments.
Adding more problems, Heche reportedly left behind more than $36,000 in credit card debt.
The 'Six Days, Seven Nights' Actress's Son Honored Her

Despite the financial burdens and legal drama, Laffoon has remained committed to honoring his mother's legacy. He ensured she was laid to rest at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, a place he described as "a living space" where culture continues to celebrate those who came before.
Per The Blast, Laffoon explained his decision, saying, "She was our mom, but the kindness and outpouring of the past few days reminded us she also belongs to her fans, the entertainment community, and now, to the ages."
In addition to that, Laffoon made sure to publish Heche's memoir, "Call Me Anne." He announced earlier in January, which The Blast covered, that the book will be released posthumously, sharing a sneak peek of the cover.
He also expressed heartfelt gratitude for the love and support shown since her death.
